I have stayed here twice now and this weekend spent it with my husband and children. The owner Edward is always at hand, offering a great service with a caring a friendly manner. His son Andy prepared a fabulous evening feast for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. I will absolutely be visiting again as the house is so beautiful and... More

On August 21st myself and my husband had the most beautiful wedding we always imagined. We didn't want a hotel wedding as we are quiet different and wanted a few unique touches that Martinstown house was able to tick every box for. The house itself is gorgeous and is very welcoming with stunning bedrooms. The family themselves are the most professional... More

This was our first stop on a 19 day trip and it remains a highlight! Driving up, the home looks exactly as pictured. It was a beautiful sunny day, with a stunning yellow house unfolding before us. I could not wait to get inside, and once I was - it did not disappoint. Edward was a wealth of information. I... More

It is a long time since I had a truly great weekend as good as this one. Our son got married, at this venue and we stayed there for the weekend. Apart from the beautiful house, and the grounds with the beautiful gardens, the staff truly know what customer service means. The food was beautiful and plentiful. The rooms were... More

We visited Martinstown House for 2 nights. Edward was attentive to every detail. We reserved dinner the evening we arrived and it was outstanding! That and the breakfasts were lovely. Edwards son is the chef. We had a good selection of wines to choose from as well. The gardens are beautiful and we were welcome to walk around any of... More

You get the real Irish “treatment” on drive to it and then the location. Horses, sheep in the road, narrow lanes between pastures. The family is wonderful, their son is a great cook. Other guests were friendly and made a great complement to the visit. With the horse farms, sheep in the roads and narrow lanes, you can’t go wrong. Easy... More

We wanted a casual laid back wedding. We wanted a bbq theme (aus/ire) marriage. This place created the that shine and magic your looking for in a wedding. We had a spiritualist wedding..We had the wedding and ceremony at the house. If there were any challenges to our requests we didnt see them and bottom line we got the wedding... More

We were a of 12 people who assembled for a meeting followed by dinner. We were shown into the warm sitting room with afternoon tea or coffee served with home-made biscuits and delicious lemon drizzle cake and all the time Edward was moving round to make sure that everyone was comfortable and well looked after. And we were. We then... More
