Friendly staff, great air conditioning, clean rooms, comfortable enough beds, lots of hot water. For Mrauk U, this is a reason to celebrate. The breakfast is basic, but they cook eggs to order along with toast and fruit juice. That's more than enough for me. I never expected a buffet in such a remote location. There is a great family-run restaurant... More

Nice room with almost everything you might need and nice and helpful staff too, even at 05:00. Breakfast very basic and very boring. Best to eat out, turn left from the hotel and eat at Moe Cherry, 10 minutes walk.

We booked this hotel through Booking.com. The entrance and the exterior of the hotel look promising. However, the rooms are very small and do not smell fresh. The bathroom was anything but pleasant to look at and very small. There is no WiFi in the hotel (not in the rooms and not in the lobby). As this hotel did not... More

I'm a little puzzled by some of the reviews here. To get to Mrauk U pretty much requires 6-10 hours on a boat or bus. After such a journey, I didn't expect to find blazing fast internet or even 24 hour electricity. What I did expect was delivered. Clean rooms and customer service delivered with a genuine smile. I arrived... More

Nawarat... what shall I say, for Mrauk U standards great, but it's non reliable... ok, nice rooms, nice bathroom, Wifi, airco.... IF it works... That's the thing about this hotel: if it works... electricity shortage is common in Myanmar, but even when they had backup generators, nobody would actually turn them on when all went dark... Hot watter... one day... More

Much quieter than Vesali Hotel where we stayed them previous night (see our review). During the day there is street noise but not in the evening. Dinner was nice (but the food wasn't as nice as Vesali Hotel). Wifi worked reasonably well during the evening. We rented bicycles for the morning. There was no ceiling fan but there was a... More

We liked the bungalow style rooms. It was more private. The staff and manager were nice. But the major hassle is the air-conditioning. It would quit several times a day, requiring re-setting by a hotel staff. When the staff that knew how to re-set wasn't immediately available they brought us a standing fan as substitution. After 2 days of such... More

Basic well situated hotel. You get what you pay for. The location is close to most sites. It is on a main road with some traffic noise. Nothing that was an issue. Rented an outdoor bike from the hotel and had a great experience going around. Staff is kind and will do what they can to assist you. Rooms are... More

Nice hotel, good for the location to move around visiting the most important temples within the town and being close to the local population. the staff are kind and helpful. The standard of the food in town is low and we ate well here, good choice for the venue and price. i would recommend it, you can book it via... More
