Recently spent a few days in Donegal and stayed at a wonderful 5 star boutique bed and breakfast, Moorfield Lodge at Ramelton. Lin and Bobby Crossle are warm and welcoming hosts, beautiful house, luxurious rooms breakfast crepes, homemade granola and breads are so good. Not to be missed. Looking forward to the next time.

The modern design of Moorfield Lodge is a first impression. Beautifully decorated, our room was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and welcome after a long journey from Seattle. Lin was amazingly accurate in her suggestions for our stay. the breakfast is superb. The best part to us, however, was a location so close to Derry and to the wonders of Donegal. The... More

Once my wife and I had proceeded through Moorfield Lodge's white powered-gate and down the long-driveway, we found a surprisingly fine experience here. I want to put the breakfast before the bed, so to speak, because Lin is a fabulous cook and she spares none of the nice touches that make a guest feel at home. The Irish breakfast was... More

We spent three nights at Moorfield Lodge and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. I chose Moorfield on the internet based on its proximity to both Donegal and Derry. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, I knew we had chosen well and I was not disappointed. Lin Crossie is a wonderful host. A total professional, she... More

WHat a wonderful appreciative review! It has gone a long way to restoring my confidence in my business and myself, thank you so very much. Beautiful house, be prepared for removing your shoes to put on a pair of newly washed house slippers - carpets WHITE...Should this be a B&B as there are only 3 guest rooms and my husband and I felt like unwanted guests in a home where help to pay the mortgage was needed so a B&B seemed like a good plan?!... Phew! I think it is I that needs the Valium! After dissecting this review I see that the guest loved the house, the location, and the breakfasts. I cannot work out if this guest had a problem with wearing complimentary slippers, or the fact that we have luxurious white carpets in the rooms? The comment made on a public forum... More

We spent two nights here in the Spa Suite. After two weeks of sleeping in lumpy beds and itty bitty rooms all over Ireland, we were thrilled to stay in this gorgeous suite, with a VERY comfy King bed. The bathroom is huge with a lovey spa tub for two, with windows looking out over the lawns. This room has... More
