Second year in Danny Minnie's with another couple and not disappointed. We had a wonderful stay. The food is superb, staff so friendly, beautiful rooms, esp one at the top of the stairs! Very comfortable beds. Only small complaint is that water pressure in showers is not great... However we survived!! This is a beautiful area of Donegal and a... More

Stayed here for one night. Room was fine. We booked dinner for 7pm. Did not like that we had to have a drink in the bar first. It was 7.50 before we were brought to the restaurant. Food was ok but not as good as expected. We would have liked to be brought to the restaurant straight away as neither... More

My daughter and I spent a great few days at Danny Minnie's in The Rosses at Annagry. The weather was glorious and everything about Donegal was delightful. She brought me there as a special treat, having heard about the Danny Minnie's superior restaurant time and time again. Yes, we were not disappointed as the food was indeed special. I'd go... More

If you read any review about this B&B that are at all negative ignore them totally because this place is absolutely fantastic. From the moment you walk through the door you will be entranced by the whole experience of your stay. The room we stayed in was far and away the best B&B we have ever enjoyed especially the super... We were staying nearby on Cruit Island, and were recommended this by the owner of the house we rented. It is fantastic! I got the 40 euro set 3 course menu, and it was all fantastic! If I ever have the pleasure of getting back there, I will most definitely go back!

Don't bother to make a reservation for January, they'll take the booking and won't tell you the restaurant won't actually be open!! It wasn't until I called the week before to confirm that their phones recorded message "informed" me about their "seasonal openings". Very disappointed, they couldn't even muster up a proper apology!!

An excellent 3 course meal here at a set price of €40 making it one of the best value places we've eaten at. Top standard cooking, great ingredients. The addition of a decent bottle of wine meant we paid around £110 for the two of us combined. The owner showed us one of the bedrooms and it was a lovely... More

What a fabulous place to stay, such a welcome by every one of the staff that we met and a lovely relaxing place in gorgeous, jaw dropping countryside. Let's get out of the way any negative points that I can think of that could be levelled at the place: No TV in rooms or common areas (for us it was... More

Just back from a wonderful night in Danny Minnies. Warm welcome, fabulous dinner, including candle on my husband's dessert plate. Delicious breakfast. Room very warm and comfortable. Extremely comfy beds. Can't recommend highly enough. This is such a unique place to stay and never disappoints. The staff are very warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the.... More

We dined here upon the recommendation of family and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere inside was lovely with a turf fire blazing and comfortable sofas in the lounge area. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. The choice of food was great. I found it very hard to settle on what I wanted. I eventually chose the goats cheese... More
