Don't bother to make a reservation for January, they'll take the booking and won't tell you the restaurant won't actually be open!! It wasn't until I called the week before to confirm that their phones recorded message "informed" me about their "seasonal openings". Very disappointed, they couldn't even muster up a proper apology!!

An excellent 3 course meal here at a set price of €40 making it one of the best value places we've eaten at. Top standard cooking, great ingredients. The addition of a decent bottle of wine meant we paid around £110 for the two of us combined. The owner showed us one of the bedrooms and it was a lovely... More

What a fabulous place to stay, such a welcome by every one of the staff that we met and a lovely relaxing place in gorgeous, jaw dropping countryside. Let's get out of the way any negative points that I can think of that could be levelled at the place: No TV in rooms or common areas (for us it was... More

Just back from a wonderful night in Danny Minnies. Warm welcome, fabulous dinner, including candle on my husband's dessert plate. Delicious breakfast. Room very warm and comfortable. Extremely comfy beds. Can't recommend highly enough. This is such a unique place to stay and never disappoints. The staff are very warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for the.... More

We dined here upon the recommendation of family and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere inside was lovely with a turf fire blazing and comfortable sofas in the lounge area. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. The choice of food was great. I found it very hard to settle on what I wanted. I eventually chose the goats cheese... More

We happened on this place by sheer chance. Walking along the main street of Annagry on a Friday night in November we wondered why what looked like two conjoined private houses were surrounded by cars. It was only the board on the pavement which revealed this was a restaurant. Checking it out online later we made a last minute booking... More

Just arrived home from a night in Danny Minnies, having not been there for 15 years. Still wonderful, fabulous dinner and more than fabulous breakfast. Quirky room and nice not to have a T.V. Staff were very friendly. Was a little noisy late on as there was a birthday party in full swing and they were unaware how noisy they... More

We went with two friends and had a excellent meal. Lovely atmosphere. Food was exceptional and presentation was first class. Will def be back. Staff were very professional, friendly and attentive. The choice of bread when we sat down at the table was so fresh and tasty.

We went here after hearing great things about it from friends and family. On arrival we were ignored by 2 staff behind the bar whilst they looked and giggled at something on Google. Eventually when they finished entertaining themselves we were seated in the bar where we have a glass of Champange. We were given the menus here and our... More
