We spent a lovely short beak in the hotel and can't wait to return. The food in the bar/restaurant is of top quality - I would recommend the crabs claws served in a chilli sauce. And the breakfasts - it is such a pleasure to get a breakfast served to you in a hotel! The hotel including rooms and public... More

Just had a one night stay at this hotel, on arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. It was a very bad night and we found our room to be lovely and warm, the room and bathroom were spotless. There was also a very strong wifi signal in the room. We went and had our meal in the bar,... I have just returned from a 3 night break at this lovely hotel. The staff are probably the friendliest I have ever met in any hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely want you to have a great holiday with them. The food is fantastic, with very substantial portions. The menu always states where the meat and fish... I visited this hotel recently with a few friends. As we were moving on we just needed some food...which we got...lovely, lovely fish and absolutely gorgeous, non-greasy, chunky chips. The restaurant was fairly busy at the time, but we were served with a smile and without delay by a young male waiter. Thank you so much for a lovely interlude,... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay with friends, having recommended Caisleain Oir, they did not let me down. We all loved it. I could not praise the food highly enough to give it justice. We ate there every night, as we could not beat the quality and value. Try the scampi tails they are.amazing as is the salmon and... More

It was a real adventure getting here from Belfast, stunning scenery on the way. The hotel itself is cosy, welcoming and staff are very friendly. I had a couple of special requests which were carried out without issue and the staff played along with my wee surprise for my partner. There were a couple of pubs up the road but... More

Just back from a wonderful stay at The Caisleain Oir Hotel where we were made to feel most welcome. Staff were so friendly and couldn't have done any more for us. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The food was superb, so much so that we ate there for all four nights that we were there. Rosie the waitress... More
