Just returned from a two night break and would like to let everyone know what a beautiful hotel with so little publicity. From entering the hotel until checkout we had a lovely tlme. The rooms were spotless! Food was excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I think our bigger hotels could learn a lot from them. Well done... More

We have just recently returned from a two-night stay in this hotel. After all the fuss of the Christmas celebrations it was really wonderful to find such a friendly comfortable hotel to stay in. We totally agree with all the previous guests' positive comments. The accommodation, food and service were excellent and the staff all work together to give the... More

We stayed in the Caisleain Oir for 2 days over the New Year. We had a family gathering and 22 of us stayed in the hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, with all our wants and needs from the staff at the front desk, to bar staff , restaurant staff, cleaners, everyone was so helpful. The food... More

We spent a lovely short beak in the hotel and can't wait to return. The food in the bar/restaurant is of top quality - I would recommend the crabs claws served in a chilli sauce. And the breakfasts - it is such a pleasure to get a breakfast served to you in a hotel! The hotel including rooms and public... More

Just had a one night stay at this hotel, on arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. It was a very bad night and we found our room to be lovely and warm, the room and bathroom were spotless. There was also a very strong wifi signal in the room. We went and had our meal in the bar,... I have just returned from a 3 night break at this lovely hotel. The staff are probably the friendliest I have ever met in any hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely want you to have a great holiday with them. The food is fantastic, with very substantial portions. The menu always states where the meat and fish... I visited this hotel recently with a few friends. As we were moving on we just needed some food...which we got...lovely, lovely fish and absolutely gorgeous, non-greasy, chunky chips. The restaurant was fairly busy at the time, but we were served with a smile and without delay by a young male waiter. Thank you so much for a lovely interlude,... More
