Very high standard of cleanliness, service and value for money, and Mary is a Saint! Only a short taxi to the train station and its 30 minutes into Dublin. Only 30 minutes to the airport in a taxi (around 25 Euros) and endless coastal walks

We enjoyed staying at Sandy Hills and wish we could have stayed longer! Mary welcomed us and offered tea and cake when we arrived. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was large, extremely clean and comfortable. We walked down to the beach (lovely views) and had dinner at the Harbour Bar and Restaurant which she recommended. Mary booked... More

It was our second stay with Mary. This B&B is absolutely great, either to start a journey in Ireland or before a flight home. A lovely home, absolutely perfect rooms and Mary, who makes everybody feel at home. Breakfast is delicious. One should stay more than only one night and enjoy the hospitality and explore the region.

My wife and I stayed at Sandy Hills as the last stop in our Ireland vacation. Our hostess was very welcoming, the house very nice and great big room, everything clean and tidy. Because we had to catch an early plane in the morning, I can't comment on the breakfasts, but we were provided with a sack of snacks (banana,... More

We stayed with Mary for two nights whilst on an Ireland road trip, and were very impressed. The room is gorgeous, breakfast was amazing (especially the home made scones) and it is a great location (took us less than 30 minutes to drive into Dublin, and there is free parking in some areas of the city on Sundays). But the... More

I spent the last night of a seven day trip around Ireland at Sandy Hills, but I wish I could have stayed there the whole week. My room was actually the smallest of the B&B, but it was way more spacious than any other B&B I've been to. It was really clean and tidy and had plenty of amenities. Mary... More

Mary seems to be the perfect B&B proprietor. She is nice, accommodating, and a heck of a cook. If you are lucky, she will make homemade scones for breakfast. The accommodations are modern and extremely clean. You would have to look hard to find a better B&B in the greater Dublin area.

We used Sandy Hills B&B as the starting and finishing location for our 2+ week vacation. Stayed one night on arrival in Dublin and two nights at the end. The location is great, the facilities first class - couldn't be better. Mary is a wonderful host. Very convenient to Dublin via the train from Lusk. Everything you want in a... More

What a fantastic place and what a welcoming host! Ended our 1 week tour of Ireland here. The rooms are better than hotel standards and the breakfast was delicious! The harbour bar (30 min walk North) serves "crackin" pub food. Truly recommend this place.

We stay 1 night after 11 day trip in Ireland. When we arrived after a long drive the landlord, Mary, served us coffee, tea and home made cake. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was rich and delishes. Thank you marry, your hospitality is great. Very recommended.
