We stayed in this lovely guest house in early December as we were attending a wedding in the village. From the time I first spoke to Mary, I knew that our short stay would be a good one. She's a lovely lady who could not have been more helpful. Our room was huge, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. It contained... More

I stayed here between xmas and new year the night before a wedding. I cannot find one fault with the place at all. Greeted by Mary who could not have done more to make us feel at home. The rooms were spotless, beds massive and so comfortable. Breakfast was unbelievable, everything, and i mean EVERYTHING was home made. Scones, jam,... More

I have been in many B&B but the top of them is Sandy Hills. Mary is an excellent person, so polite and professional. The breakfast was amazing, there were home made pancakes, as well as fruit. Another highlight was that Mary helped me where to visit in Ireland. The room was 30 m2 and the badroom 12 m2, all perfectly... More

Have stayed here a few times now when visiting people in the locality. Clean, modern, well-run B&B with good-sized room and a lovely host. Food is prepared to order for breakfast and is of a high quality and very tasty. Rush village centre only 10 minutes walk away and the beach is closer. Not to expensive given the quality of... More

My family (2 adults & 2 kids) stayed with Mary for 2 nights in October & we had a great time. The room was spacious & the breakfast was really great. However the best aspect was Mary herself, as she was so helpful & friendly. If I was staying in the area again I would definitely want to stay here.

My holiday a few weeks ago was to include visiting Dublin. Buying an AA book from WHSmith's I came across SANDYHILLS B & B. I phoned Mary Buckley and my story starts there. Mary was charming and the most perfect hostess. My stay was just what I wanted after no holiday for 3 years. Great room, Excellent food and with... More

Mary Buckley runs a beautiful house in Rush. She can't do enough to anticipate and satisfy her guests needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast based on home baking gets everyone off to a good start.

For comfort, cleanliness and friendliness there is no better place in Rush. Near Dublin Airport, twenty minutes drive away. Mary makes every effort to ensure a happy and comfortable stay in Ireland. Where to go, how to get there, where to eat is all part of the service. Special diets catered for, nothing is a problem.

We can not say enough about our wonderful stay with such a lovely, knowledgable hostess Mary , who was so helpful with all of our trip planning in the South. The room was so comfortable, and waking up to homemade bread, scones and jams was a great start to the day. A five minute drive to the train station helped... More

Dublin was the last step in 9 weeks touring Europe and the UK. Sandy Hills B&B was recommended to us as having easy access to Dublin Airport to drop off our rental car prior to checking in for our return flight. We were delighted to find a charming host in a coastal B&B only 20 minutes from the airport. The... More
