This was my first trip to Ireland. How lucky was I to find this wonderful b&b? Nothing was too much trouble for Elizabeth and Sean. They were only too happy to provide information on things to see and do, places to eat and advice on public transport. The Bearna Rua Lodge is beautifully situated wit spectacular views. The accommodation was... More

I stayed at this wonderful B&B in the countryside in Rathcoole just outside of Dublin and had a very enjoyable experience. I returned for a second visit because of the friendly owners, great breakfast and the very convenient location to Dublin. The countryside from the window is "Postcard Perfect"! Local pubs and very good restaurants make this a perfect stay.

Elizabeth made us very welcome for our one night at the start of our first trip to Ireland. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was brilliant. We had a lovely little circular walk in the glorious sunny evening. The B&B is well situated, with lovely views, and within easy travelling of Dublin city. Elizabeth told us the... More

Elizabeth and Sean have a gorgeous home with amazing scenic views. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and well appointed and we felt so welcome and at home. Our full Irish breakfast was out of this world and no request was too much for our hosts. We really enjoyed meeting their son Connor and the family dogs (don't worry allergy freaks... More

We had a wonderful experience at Bearna Rua. We had a little trouble due to a flight cancellation getting to Dublin and then an issue with the booking site but Elizabeth was wonderful and took care of everything. The room was large and very comfortable. Her husband made an excellent recommendation for a local dinner. This was our first full... More

It was a great stay at Bearna Rua. I traveled with my Uncle and we stayed in a twin room with a nice view of the city. The room was small, but very clean with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast and a lovely couple. Book it!!!
