We have often spotted this hotel as we passed through Chatillon so decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The welcome was warm, our room in the annexe lovely with comfy bed, spotless shower room, an outside table and chairs which we used, being such lovely weather. The breakfast which we nearly did not bother with was... More

2nd time here.Really like this hotel. A bit shabby from the outside but traditional France and a lovely room and welcoming owners. Breakfast room really charming. Farm made yoghurt and fruit compotes. Apple juice from the garden- delicious! Would go back again. A garage for the motorbike as well!

Yes, people keep mentioning the slightly shabby exterior, the peeling paint-work etc but this is France and it's about the character, the people and the ambiance. We thought it was truly charming. Our hosts were certainly that. The 3-bed room was spacious, spotless and furnished with quality linen etc. The bathroom was huge! We had a superb nights sleep in... More

Claude and Pascal are very welcoming and helpful owners of this different hotel. A good sized 4 bed family room; good quality bed linen; well stocked bathroom. Good games and activities room (pool and board games, piano). Convenient parking with security. Easy to find 300 metres from the railstation and 100 metres from an Intermarche with fuel. Could be improved... More

Plenty of off street parking, nice spacious rooms set around a really lovely garden where we had breakfast and a pleasant ambience provided the friendly and helpful owners, Claude and Pascal. Just a couple of minutes walk from restaurants in the rather sleepy but pretty town which shared a certain faded elegance with the hotel.

We weere a little dismayed when we pulled up outside this quite tired-looking old house, especially as it was 16:00 but reception was closed! However, when we later returned, we received a warm and gracious welcome from Claude and Pascal and were shown to a clean, comfortable room with an excellent new en suite. The room itself was a little... More

This more of a converted house hotel. The building is looking a little tired and need of a lick of paint. But a part from that it very nice the two owners Pascal and Claude make you feel very welcome and we had a garage to put the bikes. The rooms were clean and tidy and they have a bar... More

What a delightful place! I love these "house hotels" kind of places, and this one is exceptional. Not only do you have delightfully old fashioned rooms, but our room had a large, new bathroom! Everything everyone else says about Pascal and Claude, the fantastic breakfast, the lovely garden -- all true! We feel so lucky that we chanced on Hotel... More

Pascal and Claude take great (and deserved) pride in their hotel, which is a delightful, comfortable, friendly hotel. The breakfast is wonderful, lots of home baked and home made options - yoghurts, breads etc. It is surprisingly quiet at night too. Plus safe parking!

Warm welcome Lovely traditional French house hotel. Great breakfast with home made food on the patio, continental eat until satisfied and we did. Also nice to leave following a game of pool in the morning. Would use again. Sound nights sleep:)
