We came to ulu Watu for the beaches and relaxation, and Mamo hotel gave us exactly that. A 5 minute walk from the beach, with its own pool and spacious room with great facilities of air con, fridge etc. wherever you stay you really need to hire a moped to explore all the hidden beaches- this can be easily hired... This is my 2nd stay at Mamo, and it really is just lovely. No, there is no Safe or electronic key card entry. But for around $50aud per night, would you seriously expect that? What there is.....is a gorgeous traditional entrance, lovely, helpful staff, inviting pool in the centre of the courtyard which the rooms are built around, a perfectly... More

It is was amazing ..... we got there without a reservation, and it was in the right place and street when everything happens in ULUWATU is there. Nice room good bed, king size, air conditionaire, LED TV, friendily people, and good breakfast, the price is fair.

Stayed here for two nights. We chose not to hire scooters so this was a great place to stay which was walking distance to Uluwatu beach (and the famous Single Fin Bar)! The pool was small but sufficient to cool off after a hot day. Food across the road at the resto was ok. Not bad and cheap. Breakfast was... More

This joint is unreal. Stayed for a week to surf by myself and it was perfect, relaxed not in your face hotel vibe, real homely and close to ulu's. Pool was good for a rinse after the surf, the rooms were super nice with a massive bed. Breakfast over the road was good too, and the motor bike rental from... More

So glad we found this little hotel just a two minute walk from uluwatu surf hotspot... My only advice would to not be too excited about the food from over the road... Food was very bland and the customer service agonisingly slow! Apart from that i can barely fault this place.

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It is situated near Uluwatu Beach, which was perfect. The room was spacious and clean but we had some issues with the bathroom because it was smelling horrible. Moreover the sink was kind of blocked. The staff was, compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Bali, less friendly and helpful. However,... More

Perfect location for surfers, just two blocks from the cliffs of Uluwatu entrance and for going Single Fin at night. Hotel is clean, with a small pool in the middle. Usually lots of young people staying at the hotel, but it's not a party hotel or anything, so sleeping at night is no problem.

We had a pretty bad experience at this hotel. Our room had unbearably loud live electricity wire cracking outside our window and when we told the staff they didnt see it as any problem. The noise was so loud and disturbing I slept on my friends room floor and my friend slept in the hotel foyer. We had booked for... More

Excellent location at Uluwatu Beach. Room was clean and large. Staff are friendly. Hot water in shower and the bathroom was good for Bali. Restaurant serves good Bali food. The breakfast is ok, but there are plenty of good places to eat in the area. The Gado Gado was the best I've had in Bali. Scooter hire from the hotel.... More
