We've stayed at Park Farm twice this summer, both good experiences. Firstly it’s a campsite, so don't expect luxury! We found the staff to be friendly and had no problems booking in and the advice on which field to pitch in for three families was good. Our first weekend was the 25/26/27th July, we arrived at 10am so got good... More

Camp site is very old school and as we were locals camping we had visitors, mainly myself and daughters were camping with the children, and Dads wanted to come out and help with their kids and tuck them in after marsh mallows over the fires etc, When the owner turned up on her scooter and told us that no visitors... I chose Park Farm for two reasons. One it was down the road from us and two, it allowed fires. This site was packed to the rafters when we stayed. They take your money at the kiosk and then you are left to your own devices. Pitch where you want, have as many cars next to you as you want.... More

What an amazing place, proper old school camping, you can have camp fires, kids can build dens, everyone mucks in and helps if you have trouble putting your tent up, generally a great atmosphere!! Having read some of the comments on here I am shocked, for £8 per person peak season, what do you want?? the Ritz?? it would appear... More

Firstly the website isn't brilliant. We were booked for 5 nights from Sat-Thurs. Arrived just after 3 on the sat and was told to pick where we want. Sounds great. However as we drove through it was soon clear we were going to have to search hard for a pitch full stop. It was like a festival. Tents upon tents.... More

Stayed here with my three young children aged 6, 3 and 9 months with another family with 2 teenage children and 6 year old and we all had a great time. The staff were very accommodating when we decided we needed two electric pitches at the last minute and they found us a spot for two enormous 8man tunnel tents... More

We have just spent five nights at Park Farm campsite. This visit was one of the many times we have been there over the years. We took three small children who all had a brilliant time. The facilities are clean and well maintained, staff are helpful and play area is an adventure ground. It's great to be able to have... More

I was sceptical after reading some reviews here, but we decided to give it a go... And I'm glad we did! Toilets: clean and plentiful Showers: available Camp site: lovely Experience: a good one. Took a stroll to the castle inn for dinner, before returning to the camp site to build a fire and enjoy some vino with friends. Will... More

This was our first camping trip in our new campervan so didn't have too many preconceptions. The site is well sign posted from the main road. Don't expect the warmest of greetings - check-in is brief and to the point. Childrens play area was one of the best features. We stayed the week before the summer holidays so the camp... More

We arrived at park farm on thursday 24th july untill the 27th we had booked a electric pitch, and all was quiet. We set up our camper van and awning,so we were parked against a hedge, the electric hook up was the other side of the hedge, so tricky to get at, had something to eat and set off for... More
