Just back from 4 days at the Farm Lodge and our hosts, Charles and Soledad, are exceptional people. I loved everything - the view, the breakfasts, the peace and quiet, the lodge itself and the fact that the place is pet friendly - something unheard of in Chile. A place to reconnect with the family and with onself. In general,... More

If you are looking for a get away that’s off the beaten trail, you’ve found it. It’s a quaint little escape in your own private home nestled into the hillside. The stars shine as bright as any mountain top view and the lush landscape pulls you out of bed in the morning. Well, that’s partially true, I was usually anxious... More

First trip to Chile with the family..we stayed one week at Hacienda Laguna Torca..Charles and Soledad, our hosts, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Located in Central Valley of Chile, where wine, veggies and fruits are plentiful, we could not have found a more charming locale. The small negatives were far out weighted by the many... More

Charles and Soledad have created a little piece of heaven 5 hours south of Santiago. With llamas and horses, as well as an expanding olive grove and beautiful walking trails, we found it hard to pull ourselves away. There is a small town and beach just a few minutes away, and access to the Chilean wine country for day trips.... More

The Hacienda and the entire area of Vichuquen was definitely worth the trip if you enjoy beautiful scenery, quiet country living and the traditions of the Hacienda lifestyle. Charles and Soledad are excellent hosts, very enjoyable people and we would love to stay with them again. The place has simple charms and is very comfortable and well equipped. We never... More

We spent a week at the waterfall cabin (no water running through the stream in the summer months) for our vacation, we are a couple with a baby and two teenagers. The cabin is very unique and situated among rocks which are actually built in to some of the walls (you actually shower inside a stall made into the bare... More

Being lucky enough to be in the Southern Hemisphere for work we were desperate to see the real Chile. We almost found this resort by accident but it was so lucky for us that we did. Charles and Sole have turned this farm into the most wonderful place for a holiday. They have an amazing skill of always being available... More

Even though we had our difficulties to find our way to the Haciende Laguna Torca, we finally found that it was absolutely worth every meter and every doubt we had about which diversion to take. The Hacienda is a beautiful place to stay with your children. The rooms are clean. The supply of warm water is reliable (something rare amongst... More

Fundo El Rodeo de Torca is a fantastic hotel/hostel/homestay. Charles and Soledad have a unique cabana built over a small stream, complete with plunge pool and sauna. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by the owners, who tailored our all too brief stay carefully to our needs. Make sure you have a sturdy car as the road can be... More

The Cascada lodge is an architectural masterpiece nestled in beautiful Chilean countryside and built into a unique rock formation. We were a party of 5 adults and spent a long weekend on Soledad and Charles's farm and we had an unforgettable experience! There's plenty to do--ride horses, feed the llamas, hike, explore the wildlife reserve, and just relax. We spent... More
