At first glance, this resort is tucked away about 500metres from the main Masinagudi Ooty road. The landscape is unforgettable. We heard elephants in the forest nearby. The resort management have constructed a cemented watch tower which overlooks a man made waterhole and salt lick provided for animals. Just the day before we landed, we were told that there were... We have been visiting this resort for close to five years now, and will continue visit in future. This is one resort where you can see people staying awake late in the night and wake up very early as well. To understand this, you have to visit and experience it for yourself. However, the food is kind of expensive. Worth a... More

One of the most peaceful and unpretentious places in Masinagudi. It the farthest resort from the town of Masinagudi. While the other resorts are in the middle of agricultural lands, Wild Haven is within a stones throw away from a rivulet where every evening elephants and big cats come for water. Venturing out after sundown is a strict no no.... More

I went there with my friends from chennai, babu and team. As our vehicle entered I was delighted by herds of deer and peacocks and peahens. Neat individual cottages and helpful people around. we went night safaris and thrilled by sighting elephant and many other animals in the night of the wild. worth to go.

From jolly to all the staff at wild haven including soda the cocker spaniel, all hospitable and genuine. Stayed here over 10 times nothing special yet peace is guaranteed at a fraction of the cost. A quick simple getaway where life's finer more simpler things are appreciated.
