Great location on long beach. Small basic huts. Could do with some new matresses. Shared toilet and bathrooms, that were okay although never any toilet roll. Currently extending/building so lots of noise. Also the showers also run out into the sand (although this is slightly covered up) which is why we rated it lower than we would otherwise.

What can I say, this is a wonderful restaurant, the food is great, real Thai flavours as I live in Phuket Thailand I know Thai food, my Thai girlfriend and myself ate here every day sometimes twice or three times a day. The service is next to none, and they have a good selection of wine and beer. The owners... More

A friend and I stayed here for 5 nights in early October after staying elsewhere on the island for a previous night. First of all the huts are very basic but ideal for what you need, two clean beds good large mosquito net and a good fan, as well as a nice decking area with chairs and hammock. The location... More

Very surprised to read some of these reviews here on tripadvisor. I must say we had a very pleasant stay at lemon grass. Though you have to keep in mind that the hostel requires you to stay at least two nights and you need to pay in advance (we paid 50RM a night for one room). The chalets are basic... More

We arrived on the first boat on a Friday morning, and there was hardly any accommodation left on Long Beach. (Lesson learnt: book ahead!) We found Lemongrass toward the end of Long Beach. We got a simple wooden hut, furnished with two single beds and a standing fan. There is only electricity at night and mid-day. There is also a... More

We stayed here with 7 girls and booked 3 chalets next to each other. We had the luck to arrive on friday morning and at the beginning of the high season so still had enough choice of rooms. The chalets are very very basic like written before a kingsize bed, musquito net and a fan. Too be honest I am... More

The above is a direct quote, said to me and my girlfriend by the hostel's manager, in response to our delay in telling him our leaving date. He came over to our chalet in the afternoon and asked when we planned to check out, we asked if we could tell him in the morning before the hostel opened. He then... More

We stayed at Lemon Grass for 5 nights having trailed Long Beach and deciding that this was the best option for our stay on the island. We had a chalet on the front which meant that we had a lovely view of the beach from the chalet balcony, only a few steps away from the beach and we were also... More

I love staying at this chalet! It's basic (I don't need air condition) and its clean. There's hammock for each room so I can just hang out and read outside of the room. The owner is super friendly with guests and if he's up to it, he'll take you to go snorkeling. You'll be surprise of what you can see... More

I stayed here on the 9th August 2013 for 3 nights. The owner was really helpful and genuinely seemed to care about the trouble we were having finding accommodation. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and only steps away from the beach. I would defiantly recommend staying here.
