This B&B is on an island 15-30 minutes drive to Quebec.Driving to the island or back you can stop at Montmorancy Falls, one of the major attractions in this area. The hosts Gerard and Lucie are very welcoming. Breakfast is a celebration, very delicious. When booking a room ask for room with St. Laurence river view. It is so calm... More

My husband, I, our kids and our friends with a kid spent a wonderful night in Le Giron de L'Isle on our trip to Canada. We could not wish for a better place or better hosts than Gerard and Lucie. The B&B is perfectly located with the beautiful views on the water. We wish, we stayed in the B&B for... More

We selected this B&B based on the many rave reviews. We spent two nights here. The breakfasts were incredible, as anticipated. Breakfast is at a table for eight, which accomodates all the guests. This provided a good opportunity to exchange site seeing and restaurant tips. Gerard and Lucie are cordial hosts. We still dream of the breakfasts.

If your looking to stay on the ile d'Orleans (QC) you can stop looking. This place is out of this world. We stayed in a suite with a electric fireplace, balcony with a beautiful view, and a breakfast you can only dream of. We even took pictures of the breakfast table. Lucie really out does herself. We stayed for 4... More

We spent two nights at le Giron in late August , 2012. We were late arriving , but Gerard was there waiting for us with a friendly welcome and a quick tour of the house. The house is sparkling clean, the rooms are large and well appointed with everything you could need. The breakfasts, as others have said is first... More

We chose this place based on the Tripadvisor reviews that all mentioned the wonderful breakfast. We were not disappointed. We ate like royalty. The food was beyond belief. It was that good. It carried us well into the late afternoon. Breakfast was not only great food but a lot of fun. Gerard and Lucie were entertaining and social hosts. Our... More

We spent two nights at the Le Giron de I'lse B&B on Ile d'Orleans, Quebec, Canada. Excellent logding and setting. We had a tastfully decorated two room suite with a balcony overlooking the St Lawrence River. It was close enough to walk to the beach. Our hosts made us feel quite at home, but since we speak no French, communications... More

My husband and I found this B&B on Tripadvisor and chose it based on the reviews. We were a bit nervous as the reviews almost seemed too good to be true. However, we were pleasantly surprised that they were right on target! Gerard and Lucie were wonderful hosts! Lucie is an excellent cook (she carefully keeps track of what you've... More

Giron de L'Isle is a 5 bedroom B & B overlooking the St Lawrence Seaway on Isle D'Orleans near Quebec City. About a 40 minute drive to the city thru rolling farmland, apple orchards and 18th century homes. Lucy and Gerard, our hosts took great pride in their immaculate and beautifully decorated rooms. We had a room overlooking the river.... More

We only stayed one night during a recent trip to Quebec City, but we could have stayed here and traveled in daily(about 20 minutes away). The Au Giron is located on the south side of Ile d'Orleans with a view across the St. Lawerence to the south shore. Our room was on the second floor with a garden view, but... More
