This is a real find. Comfortable, clean with friendly hosts. The accommodations are lovely and the breakfasts are beyond compare. The only caveat would be the location. Just be sure ou know where it is. You can visit Quebec City, but it is a drive! Highly recommend!

Gerard and Lucie are amazing hosts. Their home is lovely and situated overlooking the St. Lawrence. Excellent location close to many amenities. The other guest were lively and energetic and we had a great time conversing with them. By far the best breakfast I have ever had and I have stayed at a many b & b's. Lucie's attention to... More

This was a real find! Le Giron is a lovely, colonial-style property, nicely located just a short walk from the St Lawrence River and the initial good impression from the outside is more than justified once inside. Warmly welcomed by Gerard, we were taken to the lounge/reception area and were immediately struck by the well-kept nature, cleanliness and lovely paintings... More

Gerard and Lucie are very gracious and warm hosts. The breakfast is one that needs to be experienced. Among B&Bs, this one ranks at the top of our list. The island has many artisan shops. There are a variety of great restaurants. This year will make our 13th year of going to the Giron. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Two night stay here for a weekend get-away with my husband to bike the island and enjoy the scenery. This B&B is a total gem and we could not have been more pleased with our stay here. The hosts were beyond accommodating and sweet to the core. The second floor room we had was spotless, spacious, and tastefully decorated with... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night and only wish we could have stayed for another. Our room faced the St Lawrence River and was so clean. I think our Room was #4 It was on the same level as the entrance. The owners are lovely. The breakfast was outstanding. We have been to many b & b's... More

This place was a jewel (and I mean jewel) of a find. Owners were super-friendly and courteous. The place was spotlessly clean. The suite was beautiful. If you are looking to book a slightly out of the way place and enjoy a high-class breakfast included in your room fee, this is it. Imagine a table that has seating for 8... More

My husband and I stayed for one night on our way back home to Ontario from Halifax. I knew that, to get there, we had to back track out of our way by about an hour but I had a feeling that it would be well worth the sacrifice and I was right. Mme. Lucie and her husband Gerard are... More

This B&B is on an island 15-30 minutes drive to Quebec.Driving to the island or back you can stop at Montmorancy Falls, one of the major attractions in this area. The hosts Gerard and Lucie are very welcoming. Breakfast is a celebration, very delicious. When booking a room ask for room with St. Laurence river view. It is so calm... More

My husband, I, our kids and our friends with a kid spent a wonderful night in Le Giron de L'Isle on our trip to Canada. We could not wish for a better place or better hosts than Gerard and Lucie. The B&B is perfectly located with the beautiful views on the water. We wish, we stayed in the B&B for... More
