I am happy to share these impressions as the hotel is situated in a superb setting surrounded by beautiful Mecklenburg landscape, forget the windfarms. The staff were very helpful and the manager exceedingly welcoming to us as English-speaking guests. Plenty of scope to tour from this wonderful centre; better if you tour by motor car as hotel is nicely distant... More

Situated in a large well groomed old park is this stately mansion turned hotel. It is old, but refurbished in the most exquisite taste. Staff is professional and friendly. Rooms are large, clean and have all accessories. The beds are incredibly good. The place has a (slightly pricy) gourmet restaurant - try it! And do try this hotel! Any sour... More

We were at the Gutshaus Stolpe for 4 days. This is a beautiful hotel surrounded by a very generous and calm park. The stuff is very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the amount of people running the reception and service during breakfast and dinner was often not sufficient. The room was relatively small and simply furbished but we have booked rooms... More

I was fortunate enough to be booked into this wonderful "Chateau Hotel" by our clients prior to a meeting in Lubin the following morning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the silence of the surrounding country side was most welcome. The only negative criticism is that tea/cofffee making facilities could be made available in the rooms. That said,... More

This hotel has been recently renovated and they've done a great job. The room was not the best but the hotel was full so we were lucky to get a room. The breakfast was good with an excellent choice if fresh food. The restaurant is award winning. The set, four course menu is expensive, as is the hotel, but the... More

Stayed here several times in recent years for holidays (the village is so remote its difficult for business). The little village Stolpe near the riverbanks of Peene river looks like Germany in the fifties, a very calm and relaxed place. Its great fun to swim in the river in summer time or to visit the near island of usedom and... More

This is a lovely place to stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were fantastic and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The place is located in a lovely setting just by the banks of the river. There are nice gardens out back with sun loungers for your use. You can even have a game of croquet.... More

Spent 2 nights in a suite in the annex next to the main building. The suites are huge with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a large living room and small kitchen. Unfortunately the main restaurant was fully booked during our stay so we ate in the 300 old Fahrkrug which is part of the hotel and a 5 minute walk... More

We went for one night with dinner to the Stolpe place. The hotel is very beatiful. The standard room could be a bit more comfortable but was quite ok. The garden is amazing. Great place to hang out. Wonderful terrace for breakfast. The restaurant is OUTSTANDING. The food was amazing and the price very resonable. We booked a package including... More

Our stay at Relais & Chateaux Hotel Gutshaus Stolpe was from December 23 - 26, 2008. We booked a christmas package in a suite for us three directly at the hotel (rate was 530,-- Euro/night, half board, tea time and taxes included). Gutshaus Stolpe is an intimate hotel with nice surroundings. We arrived by car and used the spacious parking... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Peene, the last unspoilt river in Europe with a unique diversity of animals and plants, flows past the wonderful grounds of this Gutshaus before reaching the Baltic Sea nearby. This listed 19th century manor house has been lovingly restored by the Stürken family and furnished with numerous antiques. The former stables are a delightful setting for family celebrations and the 800 m² hay barn is now a concert room. The exceptional cuisine draws inspiration from game hunted on the estate. For people with an inclination for sports there’s a tennis court, croquet pitch, bicycles, rowing boat and reduced green fees for three courses in the vicinity. ... more   less
