the Inn looks ok on the outside. I think all of the renovation love has gone here first. the inside is a different story, creaky old floors with 60s era dark brown carpet, dark funny smells and our room and furnishings were pretty old, but not in the charming antique kind of way way. I didn't trust the colored frilly... More

I wouldn't have stopped but I was on my own. Two wheels were turning, my big motor was burning, the pretty girls were long behind me. 1400k since noon. I was exhausted. Besides, I had already slowed as always, for the railroad-crossing-road-side commemoration of a fatal alcoholic, motorcycle crash. It was dark. The place looked abandon. But the neon word... More

This was a mid-way point between home and our destination. The building next to this Inn is all boarded up, and closed. When they say "train enthuthiasts" room... they mean it. Apparently CN rail is kicking butt, because trains went by ALL night long, non stop. A few years back, this place would have been fine as a rooming place for... More

We stopped in here on our way back from a week on Green Lake, very encouraged by the reviews we'd read on TripAdvisor. Sadly, the sign on the door said the Restaurant is closed -- the hotel was open but we were stopping for lunch. The sign recommended a couple places across the river -- we went to the Log... More

Stayed with 2 preteens who wanted to go back again. These are picky kids too. We were all charmed by the history of the building (built in the 1800s), comfy rooms, ambiance and great food. Can't say enough about it. Well worth the price.

well worth a stop, very British Columbia with georgious scenery a true sense of heritage and warm and welcoming reception, the freight trains going by only added to the quirkiness of this location and the friends visiting from Europe were charmed

We stayed at the Spences Bridge Inn and were very impressed. We got in late after a long day of traveliing and were greeted by a sea of friendly faces. The owner...Ray....was very friendly and quite the character. We stayed in the Isa room, the only one on the bottom of floor, and it was very clean and cheery. The... More

Great little Inn. Owner is on site, very friendly and great for a conversation. Library of books and reading material to enjoy after a long day of fishing. Rooms were large and common area was great to relax. The breakfast that is included each morning has a great variety and is very convenient.

Broke journey here from Kelowna to Whistler. Great stop. Proper teapots and tea! and cakes made by folk in the community. Looks a bit derelict from the front but lovely rear terrace overlooking the river ( and Osprey nests). Owner and staff interesting. The train is a dramatic interlude for a lunch stop...but get the point about overnight. Also we... More

Stayed here with my husband for two nights recently, on a touring holiday of BC. Lovely location right next to the river, but as others have said, the trains are very close by. We chose the Sunflower room because it had air con, and that was effective in cooling, but also made a lot of noise, so we didn't hear... More
