Given the age and location of the place, you should expect this old motel to have horrid beds and worn out decor. We felt under the managers watch; they recycle bottles quickly. It's overpriced however this is a pretty setting. All hours, you hear the trains whistle across the river-(part of the old charm). If you do stop here, be... More

I'm surprised by all of the low ratings. Our family has stayed at Acacia Grove over the years in both the cabins and the campground, and we have never been disappointed. The cabins are spacious, clean and comfortable. The campsite was perfect for what we needed. Could we hear the trains? Of course we could, but we expected that, considering... More

What an incredible spot. However, the trains are horrendous and the running river water becomes Chinese water torture after six hours which is ironic really as Chinese is the only language the television is available in, fed in from the owners satellite dish pointing at Beijing. I would recommend driving further along (East) to the Best Western

We've driven by this spot many times & always thought it would be a neat place to camp, so with night falling and the drive through the Fraser Canyon in the dark in front of us, we decided to pull in and finally give it a try. Thought it was rather expensive for what we could see of the campsites... More

overpriced, poorly maintained, extremely noisy, two train tracks run all night and if you are a little lake checking out from your campsite they rudely charge you for another whole day. The scenery and river are nice though.

Run down, poorly maintained and the owners are more concerned about getting additional money from you if you are still parked there after 11am. We were parked in a section with no one around and fished past checkout time. The owner (lady) insisted we were taking advantage and charged another full night fee for just parking for a couple of... This long weekend was our family reunion at Acacia Grove. We had all eight cabins booked and many campsites. My wife and I were in a cabin(#7). The bathroom shower had just a trickle of water so it was unuseable. The door to the loo had no latch and could not be closed . To use the toilet in privacy,... More

We have stayed at Acacia Grove many times because of the clean, well maintained campsite. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The campground has a beautiful view of the Thompson River (about 200 meters away). There is alot of history in the area and a great rafting adventure waiting for you at Kumsheen Rafting Resort (Lytton). Spences Bridge is... More

We found this to be a very well maintained park in a great location by the banks of the Fraser river. Our site was partly shaded and gave a great view of the river - only about 20 yards away. Between the park and the river is the railway line and it was fun sitting watching the longest train we... More
