Glass on glasshouse is absolutely stunning!! We had an autumn weekend break and this was the perfect spot. The location is stunning: beautiful views, lovely walks, loads of nature, bush but with beach and shopping close by and an easy drive from Brisbane. The accommodation has the wow factor - stunning design, making the most of the setting, fire place... More

We're so glad that you enjoyed our cottages, and look forward to seeing you again soon. If you come with an open mind and enjoy good design and great views you're sure to have a good time. It helps a lot if you can stay a minimum of 2 days, as it does take time to fully unwind and relax. More

What a great place to stay for a romantic weekend away with you partner. The views are stunning from all rooms in the cottage, the quality of accommodation was the best you could get. Breakfast provided was locally sourced and very tasty.

Thank you for your great review. The simple but understated elegance of our cottages does make them very poular with couples after a romantic stay. If you combine that with great mountain views, a wonderful freestanding spa bath and a good whole-of-house sound system then you can't ask for much more. We do get requests from some couples for ideas... More

Take all negative reviews of this wonderful accomodation with a grain of salt. AFTER reading them I decided to post this; some people are just plain ignorant and rude the issues they have are so petty and a clearly posted by people with no sense of the real world! The owners (we only met the one) of this beautiful accomodation... More

Well there's no beating about the bush here! Just tell it how it is. Thank you so much, you've summed up my thoughts so succinctly. 99% of the people who stay here have a great time, but unfortunately only a few write about it. The other 1% seem to get their kicks out of being negative and broadcasting it to... More

Two night stay at Glass on Glasshouse. Chosen because most accommodation options in the area really not our style at all - thank goodness for this place! Amazing situation with private expansive views, kangaroos and kookaburras. Loved it. The high tech gadgets a bit wasted on us... Met expectations from reviews and images. Only negative was had to telephone owner... More

Thanks for your lovely review. Yes we do try to provide as much privacy as possible for guests, and for guests staying more than 3 nights we do provide a free full service mid-way through their stay. Most of our guests do have mobiles, even the International ones (who may use a Travel-SIM), so ringing us from the gate isn't... More

Just spent a lovely 5 nights at glass on glasshouse for our honeymoon. What a beautiful place. We really appreciated some little touches such as a delicious bottle of champagne in the fridge with a kind note, some homemade heart shapes rocky road and a lovely spread for breakfast. We arrived late (coming straight from our reception), and appreciated that... More

Glad you had a great honeymoon, and thanks for the helpful suggestions most of which we'll do something about. Can't do much about the spa though! Yes it's a bit of a gimmick, but it's an interesting one and it simulates a waterfall (and they're noisy), but it only lasts for 10-15 mins so we think it's well worth it.... More

Glass on Glasshouse is exactly as you would expect from the pictures, romantic, private & upmarket. The view from the chalet is amazing, each room giving you a new dramatic aspect of one of the mountains that make up the "Glasshouse". I had mentioned when booking that it was our anniversary so anything that could be done to make it... More

I really enjoyed staying at Glass on Glasshouse. The chalets are romantic, beautiful, specious and very private. Exactly as on pictures or even more beautiful. Our stay was really comfortable. Breakfast was in the fridge so you can enjoy it next day in your bed. WE will be returning.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my birthday. The photos online show it in its exact light and beauty. It is seriously more beautiful than words. The owner's have literally thought of everything to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable right down to supplying mosquito coils, breakfast in the fridge and dark towels for spray tans! The cabins... More
