I stayed in Secret Paradise with my family last Monday until Friday. Getting there thru Port Barton was pretty rough. The mountain pass was muddy and stressful specially when it's raining. Boat ride is cool though. I still prefer the Sabang route because of the paved road. When we get to SPRT, we were so amazed with the pristine beach... More

Ok here goes My wife and I have read a lot of these reviews and both agree some people just should not travel . The main reason I booked was the resort was private, room for 8 couples, location, turtles. Getting there was fun, the last 20 odd k's into Port Barton was actually quite enjoyable, I was very tempted to... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in the most basic room attatched to the restraunt. They have private huts that are a little more expensive, First of all when you come into the bay the viewes are breath taking and continue to do so for the whole of your stay. All of the four beaches are amazing especially... More

A really fantastic place, real paradise! A magnificent bay full of different types of turtles, a protected reef, all swimmable from the beach. We never had a day without seeing turtles. The resort is untouched by mass tourism, yet everything you could want is available from watching monkeys roaming in trees to -free canoes to billiards. The staff were brilliant... More

The location of this place truly is a secret paradise... it's a bit of work to get there (we opted for a flight to Palawan, then a mini bus, then a boat). It was all arranged by the hotel, and worked seamlessly. Although getting there took a while, that was part of the fun. The simple yet comfortable bungalows are... More

Stayed there with my parents for Christmas last year. My parents stayed in a beach bungalow and I stayed in a fan room (I understand the fan room no longer exist though). The large beach is clean but not spectacular, the bungalow was quite basic but clean and spacious, the food was fine and the staff nice. It was a... More

I stayed at this lovely location for 3 nights. If you are looking for a quiet corner of the Philippines to escape to, this is a good option. The resort does not sell itself as a five star facility, nevertheless the facilities are good when you consider where you are. I was not expecting the shower to be so hot!... More

Hi Bob,Thanks for your review. Sorry you didnt review 4 months ago when you stayed. You hired your own smaller boat from sabang and it broke down, it was not booked with us. It was a shame you had to write this as it looks like our boat broke down, which is incorrect. The boat trip back to Port Barton... More

This was a great place to relax and unwind. Check your flight times because you want to take the ride from Puerto Princessa in the morning! We had a quite exciting trip as most of our trip was in the dark! Including the boat ride. We enjoyed our time at the resort and had a great time on the island... More

This place is not only a sanctuary for turtles but also for the soul. Getting there was an adventure itself, with a 5 hour bus ride from puerto princesa and 45 min scenic boat ride from port Barton to turtle bay. It was all worth it. The first night we were treated with the most amazing star gazing experience. During... More
