I have mixed feelings about this place- I've given it a good review because: - Beautiful location -Very friendly staff who tried hard to please -Secluded and peaceful -The rooms were very nice and the landscaping/grounds etc beautiful However, given that this place was not cheap (for Filipino standards) I think a few areas needed addressing: - The staff need... Secret Paradise lives up to its name. It sits on a remote part of the Palawan Island, 2-hour sail from the Underground River. The place is teeming with nature- birds and, of course, turtles. It flaunts stunning vistas over and under water. It only has 7 cottages including the restaurant in its 70-hectare property so it will never be crowded... More

This place is really a gem in the arcipelago. Beautifully located. Quiet, peaceful, warm and friendly. Great food and friendly staff. Everything is very well organized. Mark and his staff does a great work here. We would love to come back. This is the perfect place if you need to relax.

Well, not sure how to start but this really was a big NO GO for us. Food was the BIGGEST rip off ever, having just arrived in the country we were used to something else in other places, quantities for a curry were trying to be minimalistic and being the only place you can eat there this is a big... It's a complete package of a very nice ECO friendly resort. The staff was very accommodating, the place never fails to leave you at awe with the sound of birds that you can hear everyday, butterflies flying everywhere and the stories and experience of people from the resort that you hear and share that puts icing on the cake. Truly... More

We had such an amazing time at the secret paradise resort. It was exactly that! Paradise! Staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a good variety of food. Myself and my husband wanted a nice quiet resort to get away from everything and we were very pleased we choose to go there. 2 very happy customers :)

Secret Paradise Resort is a must when going to Palawan in the Philippines. Here you can experience the true nature of this fantastic island. With its remote location only accessible by boat from Port Barton or Sabang you will be able to walk in the surrounding rainforest, sail among turtles in the bay and view spectacular sunsets at the end... Not an easy place to get to, but it is absolutely worth it. We arrived at Puerto Princesa airport on 30 October from Manila. We flew with Air Asia, and that was a positive experience as well: smooth check-in, smooth boarding and and an early arrival! To get to the resort, we had arranged a transfer via the resort based...
