quite recent construction nicely designed oasis in Cabo de Gata valley desert rural location. on-site amenities such as outdoor pool, spa makes it for a true relaxing stay. very quiet area close to little quaint village occupying former mining sites. local nursery is worthwhile visiting. hotel restaurant provides breakfast & meals but it needs much improvement in my opinion.

We stayed there for two nights as a quick vacation with friends and it was a great one. At the beginning I was a bit sceptical about the experience of being in the middle of nowhere but it was a great experience. The personnel are quite educated and helpful, the bedrooms are spacious and the pool is small but it's... More

The ambience in this hotel is a bit hippy with an art gallery,a fountain in the middle to listen water falling at every room and pet friendly. We went with our 2 years old daughter and the were so kind with her! They make our stay very easy and comfortable. My advice: ask for half board, dinners were amazing!!!

Just outside Rodalquilar this hotel is centrally located between San Jose and Carboneras with a large natural beach (el playazo de Rodalquilar) just five minutes drive away. The hotel is basic and clean but the restaurant is poor. Our dinner was of low quality and badly cooked. As the costal town of Las Negras is a fifteen minute drive away... More

Good looking architecturally and with a friendly atmosphere, a little gem set in beautiful natural surroundings just outside Rodalquillar in the middle of the Cabo de Gata national park area. Great breakfast with lots of choice, didn't try the dinner or the spa or the swimming pool but it all looked good. The dining room was a bit stark and... More

Hotel had everything we needed for a quiet, peaceful holiday. Staff were helpful, especially the young woman with brown hair who greeted us on arrival. We did have one problem - on return from the village on the first evening there was a terrible smell in the room. We were moved immediately and given a free spa to apologize for... More

Stayed for 2 nights and had a quiet tranquile time. They cater for English customers also. Thanks for the great downtime. Bit of a nightmare to find but it is an oasis! Fantastic views when driving to this location.

We stayed here for three nights in May 2013. It's an ideal base from which to explore the Cabo de Gata. The hotel is nicely decorated with unnusual touches from local artists that really add character. The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and is well designed for lovely views from by the side of the pool (which was still... More

I stayed here for one night while walking the coast southwards from Carboneras to San José. It is the type of Spanish hotel I've criticised before (e.g., in Grazalema or Arnes) - a modern, concrete, supposedly "eco" hotel built in the middle of nowhere. But, in this case, the scale of the place is very modest (only 22 rooms, I... More
