Why is everything in Denmark so overpriced for so litte Quality?? 60s era gloomy interior with obviously no upgrade since then except for a couple of shower gel dispenser in bahtroom? WOW that s really impressive. the quality of the bedding is so la la (the pillows must have seen THOUSANDS of customers). the shower will flood the whole bathroom... More

Very charming old inn. Great service and very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. Of course there are room for improvement. The rooms could need a modernisation, but as they are they give great value for the money. Very good wifi in the rooms.

Location appr. 3 km from Christiansfeld, on what was once the border between Denmark and Prussia/Germany 1864-1920. Historically interesting and quaint inn ("kro"), with lots of space for big celebrations like weddings etc. The rooms are fairly large, and have all the basic necessities, incl. free WiFi, but no luxury like a minibar. The beds were neither too soft nor... More

Nice old inn (several hundred years old) with nice rooms. Note that you have to ask for a room with a hairdryer if you need one and don't want to bring your own. A bit disappointing that the room was freezing cold when we arrived - you have to operate the thermostats yourself. We learned from other guests that they... More

We wanted to end our 3 weeks tour on the continent with a Danish finale. The room was spacious with comfortable double bed and some terrible paintings om the wall. The bathroom had inadequate lighting and none of the usual amenities ( shampoo, two bath towels,Kleenex), no hairdryer . The soapdispenser contained something with a rather peculiar smell. Free Wi-Fi internet... More

Came late in the evening and had 1 night in a familyroom with four comfortable beds. Clean and good looking room with a free internetaccess, and TV. The Danish hamburger (hakkebøf) that was served late in the evening was the big juicy kind :-). Excellent breakfast. Nice staff.

Driving around Jutland is a pleasure - good roads and not much traffic. Stopping to eat and stay at the local inns - the Kro - just adds to the pleasure. We arrived at Den Gamle Graensekro after driving from Billund Airport and were shown to a large, comfortable and clean room. Then it was time for a good, wholesome... More
