There is no doubt that the TM is situated in a lovely peaceful village with views of the R Rhone. And it would be difficult to be critical of the service offered. However in my opinion it is adequate as opposed to very good, and, frankly, 25 to 30 % overpriced for what it is. The rooms are absolutely tiny,... More

On our way to Spain we stopped in this lovely little village, just of the A7 motorway, to stay in this wonderful hotel full of medieval charm and southern-France hospitality. Despite being late we still got a table in the restaurant, which offers great value dishes. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is top. We'll come back!

We stayed at this hotel en route through to the South of France from the UK and it proved to be an ideal stop off point with our two dogs. Found through the Alastair Sawday website it did not disappoint but we were booked into one of the more expensive rooms with a balcony (the other rooms may be smaller).... More

We were hunting for the Ibis hotel and this is where our sat nav delivered us.Beautiful setting and we had a 85 euro room overlooking the countryside. We did decide to eat at this hotel for the evening meal and it was a trifle expensive but well worth it.The room with breakfast and evening meal came to 196 euro!.

Usually I don't write negative reviews, I just vote with my feet, but I felt compelled to write this mainly because it is recommended on Alistaire Sawdays French retreats, and I have never had a negative experience from the recommendations on this site. This hotel is in a lovely spot, views are amazing. But that is where it ends I'm... More

Lovely little hotel in a charming village overlooking the Rhone valley - excellent restaurant and very nice breakfast the following morning. Makes an ideal stopover on the way north or south, and close to the motorway.

We had a highly enjoyable stay at La Treille Muscat. The setting in this lovely village is perfect. The service from the young and friendly staff was very good. We opted for two of the cheapest rooms (85 euros a night) and they were small. The bathrooms were also very small with not very efficient extraction fans and, as a... More

Stayed here on way back to uk from le var. what a place! Stayed in room 15 and whilst €150 was the cost it was worth every euro. Outstanding with views and balcony over valley and even sight of power station was not a problem. Food and service was first rate and good value. So good we have changed travel... More

The website for La Treille Muscate implies that it is a very good restaurant with rooms. No-where on the site does it say the restaurant closes for lunch or dinner. We stayed there on Monday the 23rd of September. When we arrived at 2PM, eagerly looking forward to lunch, both the restaurant and the accommodation was locked and no-one was... More
