this hotel is nice as always and offers spacious rooms with bath and tv. Food is enough and average, but you come for culture. Zulu dancing still the best in the country. staff is friendly. You are in the bush, therefore beware before you open windows.

We arrived Sunday afternoon for a two night stay. We only stayed one night. Nobody to welcome us. Staff were eating lunch at 2:30pm in the main dining area. When I wanted to get something for my kids to eat they were unfriendly and irritated that I interrupted their lunch. They send me to the bar to buy Simba chips.... More

Stayed just one night, it was brilliant. It really is a living museum to the Zulu people. The accommodation consist of Zulu huts ( modern interiors). The restaurant served a good buffet supper, the bar stocked most beers and spirits. The tour of the Zulu village by the Zulu guide was most informative, and the traditional Zulu entertainment was excellent... More

As usual, we weren't sure what to expect here but it turned out to be a great place. Not only were we given a delightful hut close to everything but there was a guided tour complete with film and demonstrations (don't try the beer!) and an hour of traditional singing and dancing. Even though these folks do this twice a... More

Stay on July, 26th 2013 Hut 21 Of course this is an organised location for tourists, however with the 'musea-village' it gives a very good idea of the culture of these people. So also the traditional dances. The walls of the 'huts' are in stone and well equiped (of course forget the TV-set). Rooms and environment is clean. Located on... More

This has always been on the top of my list of favourite places to visit. The food is traditional African fare. The on site Zul village is pretty authentic and the dancers can dance in many traditional styles and in many other African traditions. The services is awesome and the people are friendly.

We stayed the night and weren't very excited about it. Of course it rained that afternoon and night and the mud there wasn't pleasant. That lead to the fact that the marimba session was held under a roof but the performance was very poor. The dance was also indoors but that was the only thing that I liked, the dancers... More

I arrived int he late afternoon, spent the night and then left the next morning. I was totally impressed with the set-up. The area was clean, the rooms fantastic and the staff friendly. I watched the afternoon with my clients as well as the evening show, and both of them I enjoyed thoroughly! The morning show I felt could have... More

My friends & I spent 2 nights here. The various "Team Building" programs they advertised on the website were non-existent. (no firewalking, extreme sports, Survivor Shakaland, etc.) Also, the "Programmes" listed (beer making, beer drinking ceremony, Zulu dancing, beadwork, pottery, etc.) were all basically a rehearsed presentation that took about an hour total. After that, we were on our own... More
