We have stayed here many times as a weekend getaway. It is located in Rio Rancho outside of Albuquerque, but the way the hotel was built, you will feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. The many pools are fantastic (slide pool, adult pool, river type pool, and giant Jacuzzi), and the jogging and horse trails are... More

The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort is a resort that provides a quite place to relax. Their amenities are amazing. Being a large person, it is a challenge to find a high quality beds. I had a great nights sleep.

The most beautiful surroundings, quiet, peaceful and excellent staff. Room service was incredible! The view I had from my room when the sun was rising was spectacular. You have to stay at Tamaya Resort at least once in your lifetime. You will want to return again and again.

The hotel lived up to our expectations. The room was nice. The food was good. My wife received a spa treatment, and came back rejuvenated. The conference I attended was also well handled well. Lunch was good. Snacks were healthy.

Great room with an amazing view. Regenerative and restful stay. Visiting for a conference, which meant long days of work. Was able to relax and rest up at night. Definitely want to come back with my wife sometime to just enjoy the resort itself.

Location is convenient to ABQ but feels far away from any city. Driving up to Tamaya Resort feels like you are just winding on a trail through the high desert. It is very unassuming . . .however, when you arrive it is spectacular! Just gorgeous! Adobe elegance at its finest. Superior attention to detail in ambiance and with the staff.... More

The Tamaya grounds are wonderfully spiritual and if you are sensitive in this way, you will pick up on all the energy present. It's beautifully layed out. However the rooms are tired and in desperate need of updating, particularly the carpeting throughout - there was a terrible sewer gas odor on the ground floor close to the very good restaurant... Not up to status of a resort hotel. Staff was lacking in courtesy. No breakfast provided. Shuttles between conference sessions was not reliable and non existent at times. Outside landscaping was not attractive and it seemed like little pride was taken in caring for the facility. It appeared that for being fully booked there was very little staff on duty.... More

Dear Antonio, Thank you so much for taking the time to review Tamaya. I'm very sorry that you were disappointed in your recent stay here. I realize that natural landscaping isn't to everyone's taste. But the entire area around the Cottonwoods Bosque and Pavilion are under the management of the Santa Ana Pueblo and Department of Natural Resources and they... More
