While planning a vacation to Santa Fe, I noticed the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort was on the route from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. We decided to give it a try. What a great choice - I would highly recommend a stay at this property. As someone who travels frequently, both domestically and internationally, I am routinely disappointed by many hotels... More

LUXURY1GEORGIA: Thank you for your detailed review. We are glad that you pointed out our close proximity to Santa Fe. There is also train service up to Santa Fe, and the shuttle provides service to and from the train depot for free. Something to remember for large events in Santa Fe, when the top hotels book up you can still... More

Having just come back from 5 days & nights at the Hyatt Tamaya for a conference, I can say that this is a wonderful place. It is huge, and totally self-contained in a beautiful mountain desert landscape. Sitting outside on the terrace having dinner and watching the mountains grow purple as darkness falls was magical. Because I was there attending... More

This resort hotel is a wonderful place for pampering! The rooms are spacious and quiet with nice decor. The pools are awesome. The food is great. The setting is magnificent! You can walk the trails to The Rio Grande. There are horse stables on the property. A great place to relax!! Getting to the airport is pricey though. Would recommend... More

I lived in the Albuquerque area for 10 years and never been to this resort. I now live out in NYC and I have to say what a beautiful place. The drive into the hotel is a little much especially arriving at night. But the splendor and beauty takes you away. The service is top notch. The staff remembers your... More

It's Football Sunday and they do not have HDTV in their rooms! Only place to watch HD Football is the bar, but we don't drink! Having a conference here and everyone has the same comment coming in on a Sunday!

The Tamaya Resort is what other hotels should be…from the friendly and welcoming staff to the beautiful setting and gorgeous decor. This is a very special place. If you want a room away from noise, I recommend a room not facing the swimming pool. The room was immaculately cleaned each day. This hotel is out by itself which is the... More

Beautiful place, But their services meaning food, drinks and bell services are very bad for what you pay for this place. I'll give you an idea on how bad my experience there was for me. took my wife there for valentine's Day my bill was over $700. That was for the Room, massage (for one person) two drinks. If you get... I love this resort. My daughter and I stayed her about 5 years ago and wanted to return. The rooms are lovely, the setting is beautiful. It's really why you want to go, it is just so beautiful there. We went horse back riding and it was one of the best riding experiences I've ever had. the hiking and biking... More

Dear Akhautin: Thank you for your review and for point out some areas that are service improvement opportunities. We are very proud of our stable and agree with you that it is the best riding experience ever. Full service: from lovely rooms, tasty local foods, flavored water dispensers everywhere, spa with separate men and women areas. beautiful outside areas and the service was impeccable. They grow many of their own herbs and veggies. Agree with others that food is on the expensive side...but not unlike other resorts of this caliber. My grandsons would visit us and they... More

We booked a wedding reception for 40 people last Saturday night. The venue was beautiful and the food was very good. We checked our car into valet at 5 and asked if our bags could be taken to our room. We met our guests at the party and had a great evening. We had the venue booked until midnight and... More
