I definitely recommend this for a stay and any dining plans; both were very favorable. The rooms are good size with all the amenities you would expect. The cafe downstairs is a bit less cafe and more sit-down dining style, which was great as the quality of the food and service was outstanding. I got the corn encrusted cod which... More

So much fun, staff (completely) from valet to front desk on the ball with friendliness & communication skills, I felt important & very comfortable. The amenities were plentiful from pool side evening movies & s'mores, could very much tell, a place that children & adults would enjoy. Definitely will make this a destination to go back to & hope to... More

We were unaware of the Tamaya Resort until we were planning a trip through New Mexico. It's not really that convenient to Santa Fe, but the property is very nice and for a relaxing weekend in a warm spot, it fits the bill. The grounds are very pretty. It's a typical resort in the desert -- arid land but plush... More

Hyatt Regency is located in Bernalillo, NM. It sits low enough that you cannot see the city from the resort so you feel like you are further out than you really are. The resort has the most wonderful smell of cedar incense in the grand living room. Everyone is friendly and helpful and willing to cater to you and pamper... More

Wrapping up our first stay here- great property, great amenities, outstanding service. Cant say enough positive things about this hidden gem. A bit off the beaten path but worth finding. Staff go above and beyond and have great attitudes. Terrific pools and waterslide for the kids. Large property but well thought out. Great hiking/running trails, lots of activities for families.Terrific... More

We stopped on our way to Santa Fe for lunch. It was absolutely the best food we have had in the past three days! Very fresh, light and delicious. We had the chicken enchiladas and they were fantastic. The pork stew was very flavorful as well. The service was excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the views in spite of... More

This is a lovely place to go to feel pampered and relaxed. We return here at least once a year, but haven't had a chance to come in the summer months for a number of years, so we were amazed at all the activities available for all ages. Seems like they called me by name everywhere I went in the... More

The Tamaya is a very beautiful and peaceful hotel. Hyatt offers kids club which is nice if you need time alone without kids. They also offer free tours on site to educate about the area and it's history of Native Americans or indigenous people. They have story telling and starry nights on Saturdays. Our room was facing the Sandia peak... More

Dear Darlene H: Love your room tips for traveling with kids. Thanks so much for writing that. I agree our resort is a great place for unwinding, immersing yourself in another culture, and experiencing nature first-hand. We also pride ourselves in luxurious accommodations to go along getting "back to nature." Hope to see you and the family back again soon! More

I had a great experience at the Tamaya Resort. Highlights include--walking/running trails behind the hotel (think beautiful New Mexico sunset!), bikes available to use on or around the property, nice fitness facility with 2 elliptical machines, 4 treadmills, a bike and weights and healthy vegan options by request on the menu. Overall a very great stay. The location is remote,... More

Dear Stephanie W. Great ideas for other vegans and health conscious guests, thanks so much for that! I completely agree, Hyatt Regency Tamaya is full of healthy options. Hyatt's corp. philosophy is "thoughtfully sourced, carefully served" and I think that "sustainability" applies not only to culinary but to taking care of the planet and animals (like our horse rehab program).... A wonderful place to unwind. Travelled with teenager and a dog on way out to California. Had such a wonderful stay that we rearranged our return visit so that we could stay again. Hotel couldn't have been more accommodating. Felt like going home as many of the hotel staff remember our dogs name and greeted her like a friend. Great... More
