Stayed here a couple of years ago, so this is a little bit dated, but still a good review. We stayed at the Tamaya in conjunction with the International Balloon Fiesta. The balloon fest is well worth the time and money to experience. The hotel is great. Beautiful in every area, its high lite is the spa. I used the... More

My wife and I took our kids to the Tamaya Resort in the spring and met up with my parents there.) I live on the East Coast; my parents live in the Southwest.) All three generations enjoyed it. The landscape is great for photography, the pool was good for the kids, the spa was relaxing, the Corn Maiden restaurant was... More

Dear Peregrinus C Awesome review. We are rated by Family Vacation Critic as a favorite resort in 2014 as well as a Parent-tested Parent-approved (PTPA) resort, so your opinion matches that of experts. But most of all, I'm sincerely grateful that all three generations had a wonderful vacation! More

The Hyatt Tamaya is one of my favorite hotels in the world. The hotel captures the beautiful architecture of NM. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and very clean. We love to stay on the concierge floor in a mountain view room. The restaurants are very good. Be sure to sit outside and watch the Native American dancers on the weekend... More

Stayed here last week. It was an amazing stay. The concierge Mariah Montoya picked us up from the airport and she was awesome, so friendly and sweet. The room was beautiful. The hotel staff made the trip enjoyable. Lucas at the front desk was very helpful. Félix the shuttle driver gave me wonderful tours of the property. Claudia at the... More

It is a great place to go if you want or need relaxation. They offer many activities for one to do on the resort. I went horseback riding and it was fantastic. It was not the typical tail to head type of riding. I felt safe and comfortable. The Spa is exquisite, a little pricy but worth it. Archery was... More

Dear MaggieVita1: Thank you for your visit and for sharing your insights. I love that you got to "do and see" so many different aspects of the resort. From authentic western trail riding, to luxurious spa treatments, to taking in nearby Santa Fe, which is always rated as one of the top cities in the world! Very cool. Please do... More

The remote setting of this amazing resort sets the stage for the "other worldly" experience you'll enjoy during your stay. We arrived at night during the Christmas holiday and were greeted by a glittering display of lumineria and a roaring outdoor fire in a kiva fireplace situated by the front doors. The rustic wood beams set high above our heads... More

Dear OjaiSharon- What an engaging description you've written about what it was like to visit our lovely resort during the holidays. Thank you for that. You are correct, Hyatt Regency Tamaya is set up to handle large groups, corporate retreats and small-medium conventions; however we love to pamper the leisure traveller, like yourself as well! Please do stop back again... More

Stayed here for a recent conference. It was a wonderful stay I just wish I'd had extra time to enjoy the facilities of the property. Restroom bathtub is a bit dated but everything else is up to Hyatt qualities including the service and staff.

From the moment you arrive you start relaxing. The aromas and the music set the atmosphere for a wonderful experience. We always get a room with a mountain view because sunrise and sunset are awesome. It is the perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day, I have never seen such an amazing buffet.

Dear Susienskippy: Thank you for taking the time to write about us. It appears that you stayed with us last year over Mother's Day. (WOW, you have a good memory!) Again this year will be an extra special buffet for all the Moms. Please consider joining us again. Have a fantastic week. More

The resort is very attractive, the surroundings are tranquil, and the rooms are comfortable. However, I had several problems that lead me to not recommend this hotel (plus the fact that it's overpriced for what you get). First, mandatory resort fees are deceptive. They are just a way to make the price seem lower than it really is in a... More

When you can see the Sandia Mountains right out your window or look up North to the Sangre de Cristos from the Courtyard area (There are two pools) it's as beautiful as they say it is. Dear Michael- We greatly appreciate your review and wonderful comments. Even though I've worked here for quite a while, everyday I'm awed by the beauty of the mountains, and the "zen-ful" feeling I get when on property. I am so pleased that you too sensed the spiritual calm that is unique to Tamaya. We were happy to serve you and... More
