Stayed Thursday through Monday and really enjoyed my time here. The pools are great and the scenery/hiking trails are very nice. The restaurants/food is delicious and the menus include a variety of choices, including some local fare. The staff is outstanding! So friendly, helpful and accommodating. Everyone says hello to you and are happy to answer questions or help with... More

It was a very long journey to get here. Turning off 25 and past the casino, you find yourself at the entrance to nowhere. A long, winding road dodges sagebrush and the occasional golf cart crossing. Suddenly, as if to appear magically, arrives the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort. An unassuming elegant adobe style structure rescues the wary traveller. Valet and... More

I have stayed at a number of 4 and 5 star resorts and this one is tops. The staff is amazing from A to Z. They are SO friendly and go out of their way in every way. The resort is comfortable and warm like home. You can hang out in the "living room" or sitting areas. The food is... More

Dear Mugsly- Thank you for your review and kind words. I'm so happy that you had a great experience. I also appreciate that you called out specific personnel by name. Luxurious surroundings, spectacular scenery and gourmet food can be found at many resorts, but I think it's our staff that makes the experience feel so personal.... Thanks again. More

I saw the reviews and was looking for a place to stay and once I got here it just got better and better. My room is very well appointed with a balcony with a great view. Property sits on 500 acres and has views, trails, bikes, horseback and classes and great pools. The gallery has fantastic art and array of... More

This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed! It is a beautiful resort hotel and a great place for taking a family, and they also have a golf course and a hiking trail and the scenery there is beautiful. The food in their restaurant is really good.

Dear Sbyman Thank you for "Top notch resort" review. I sincerely hope that you were able to take the kids down the water slide as well... My boys always love doing that. I was also glad to hear that you enjoyed golf and hiking around some of the 500 acres of Santa Ana owned pueblo land. It's quite special. Thank... More

This was my second visit to the Hyatt Tamaya Resort. Again, it exceeded our expectations. The staff was great. The concierge level is always a nice treat. I love the way the hotel blends in with the landscape. The dinner in the Corn Maiden restaurant should not be missed. The stable facilities run by Connie , Ernesto & the rest... More

Welcome back! So glad that you chose to stay with us again. I personally am proud to work for the Hyatt since they are supportive of having each property find ways to give back to the community. Our Tamaya Stable Horse Rehabilitation Program (which you mentioned), run by stable master Connie is a great example of that. While it's true... More

Service is top notch, everyone is friendly. My spouse and I had a mountain view room upgraded for free (it was very quiet while we were there). The breakfast buffet at the Café is outstanding, go for it. The patio of the lounge is impressive and refreshing; the bbq at the bar is good though we wish there were more... More

Dear dogbuckeye: I'm glad your feeling a little "zen" after your stay. We strive to blend seamlessly into the beautiful natural environment--creating a relaxing, almost meditative atmophere (as you mentioned). There are several large salads on the menu at Rio Grande Lounge, but I agree with your suggestion, more veggies would be welcomed! I will pass on your comments to... More

Want to give this a 4 1/2. Husband and I just returned from a week in Albuquerque. Best part of stay was our time spent at the Tamaya Resort. I desperately needed a peaceful and relaxing vacation, and this was just that. We opted for the buffet breakfast at the Santa Ana (well worth it) and dined there for dinner,... More

Recently visited this lovely property to stay for a long weekend and celebrate my husband's birthday. It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful locale. The grounds are very peaceful. We had fantastic time hot air ballooning and horseback riding. The hiking trail down to the river was very nice. We could go for a walk and not see another soul.... More

Loved the location, food, people, and weather. Nice location about 40 minutes from Albuqueque airport and same distance from Sante Fe. Lots to do with activities, cooking, wild life, hiking, biking, pools, horses, balloons, etc. Staff was especially nice. Very little to do outside of the hotel but a few good restaurants and a casino.

Dear Kelly G: Location, location, location--no I'm not a real estate agent, but I agree with you that this is key for the Hyatt Tamaya resort. We are about halfway between ABQ and Santa Fe, giving lots of options. Albuquerque has resturants, museums, Sandia Peak Tram and Santa Fe for it's art galleries, historic churches/buidlings, and culture. Since we're located... More
