This is a large resort, that is located in the desert outside Albuquerque. It is very well maintained with all the facilities you might want. Golf, several swimming pools, horse riding, bike riding, hiking. It has. Great restaurants and facilities. Even the wifi works well. It is really designed for a family vacation, and caters to all ages and needs.... More

Oh my goodness. This place is amazing. We came here planning to stay for one night after a wedding, we ended up staying another night and would've stayed longer if we didn't have to work (darn work, always ruining the fun). We came with three kids under three and felt warmly welcomed everywhere we went. Pools, restaurants, the gorgeous grounds... More

I have stayed here multiple times with kids and without. It is a wonderful oasis in the desert, so much to do here! The spa is wonderful, the restaurants are delicious, the pools are awesome, there are bikes, horses, hiking trails, bird watching tours, s'more's at dusk...the list goes on and on. It can be pricey depending on the season... More

We returned for the third time and love love this resort. It is so quiet and looks like an adobe village from the outside. The pools are super with 85 degrees on a cool morning. Rooms were nice . This year we did not opt for the mountain view since we were away at a conference. I think it is... More

Beautiful place for families or couples, work or pleasure. Food great and staff is awesome. As you drive in you begin to feel there is something different. When you walk into the building, the sound of the Indian flutes and the welcoming staff start your great visit.

The resort is very well run, the staff is excellent, the room was great, the food was great, the activities were excellent. Somewhere in the hotel there was always live music in the afternoon and evening. The pool area was excellent especially the adult pool

This place is so dang expensive! The food is mediocre at best in each of the restaurants on site. The pool is very average. The rooms are also pretty average. Why such high prices?? Your better of heading directly to Santa Fe and staying at The Hilton, Hotel Santa Fe or The Eldorado Hotel right off the Plaza. You'll have... More

Dear LexiRue, Thank you for taking the time to review Tamaya. We are terribly disappointed that you were underwhelmed with your experience. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy any of our dining options. Did you eat at the Corn Maiden, our fine dining restaurant? It seems that our staff did not communicate all of the fun things there are to do... More

Tamaya Resort & Spa is beautifully designed inside and outside with all the amenities an individual or family could want; in addition to being an educational, socially responsible and eco-friendly environment. Rescuing and rehabilitating horses is one example. The Tamaya Resort’s major downside is their staff’s lack of training. From the registration desk to all levels of food service, the... More
