I stayed here for three nights with four friends for a wedding in Ditchling, sharing the barn annexe (Seaside and Sunflower rooms). It was a really delightful experience which began even before we arrived during a lovely email correspondence with our host Susie. She was very accommodating to our needs, including special breakfast requests for a vegan in our party... More

We stayed here for one night while walking the South Downs Way. My research was a bit lacking here as I had got so excited about the reviews I forgot to check exactly where it was, so be warned that it is about 3 miles from Jack and Jill Windmills, which is a bit of a trek after 17 miles... More

We stayed her with a group of friends as was visiting hickstead showground. The hosts susie and Mike were fab and made you very welcome. The rooms were delightful and quirky and the beds were very comfortable . ...and the bathrooms had a throw back to the 70 's feel....but all added to the charm! The breakfasts were amazing with... We were delighted to experience Susie and Mikes hospitality recently. I could happily have spent weeks pottering about their beautiful house and garden! Our family stayed in the Hydrangea and Four Poster Rooms, both delightful. The attention to detail, in every aspect of this house and standard of service offered, is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lovely hosts, with... More

We recently stayed over the weekend and were very well looked after. The house is beautiful, the room we stayed in was extremely spacious with really comfortable four poster bed, windows on three walls looking over the amazing garden and countryside and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was also fantastic!

I stayed at Clayton Wickham as part of a family group visiting for a wedding. I enjoyed it so much I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay to anyone visiting the Sussex area. The location is great for visiting the many gardens and lovely villages locally, and with great walking nearby. The B & B was picturesque, with a beautiful... More

We recently had a three night stay and it was a privilege to be here. We received an amazingly warm welcome and hosts Susie and Mike were a great source of information and assistance, sharing their local knowledge on places to visit and eateries in nearby towns. We stayed in the Seaside room which was extremely comfortable and private. (We... More

This didn't suit us at all very old fashioned and chintzy. The site of petols and cheap boot fair tut all over we loved the area which is beautiful but we feel the price charged is far to much and about half would be fairer This stay was bought as a gift we are glad it didn't cost us anything and... Please disregard this Review as the reviewer has never stayed with us, and certainly not when he said he did, as we were away and the B&B was closed! More

I saw this B and B on a TV show a few weeks back.......I was so intrigued by the place that I determined to give it a try. Being a first visit to a B and B I did not really know what to expect. Well the place is really fabulous......the historic building is beautifully appointed, very tastefully furnished and... More

We only spent one night but were warmly welcomed by the owners. The converted barn en suite bed room we stayed in, was warm, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. A good breakfast finished off our stay. An unexpected delightful experience in a peaceful setting and we preferred this to staying in a hotel. Not the cheapest option around but in... More
