We stayed at the hotel with some friends while visiting Durbuy and its surroundings. The hotel itself is presented as an old castle, while in fact it's an old manor farm. Inside, the entrance and restaurant are cosy, but the rooms did not convice us that we were staying at a three star hotel: small, outdated appliances, extremely basic and... More

We were well received, given a charming room, and had a nice breakfast in the lovely breakfast room. The hotel definitely has lots of character, but you feel the service is a bit haphazard, and more attention could be given to details. The restaurant is on the expensive side, food is good but not top. Overall a satisfying experience.

Overall the hotel had a run down feel to it, the rooms were of poor standard and badly equipped. It is such a shame as the building itself is lovely and has a real feel of history about it, but the ambiance is ruined by the cheap and nasty about the place. The accomodation is ok. But the conduct of the owners is terrible........ Impolite is not the right word to discribe their behaviour... This is what you a weekend out of hell!!!
