Julien Lahire is a great artist no doubt, his cuisine is on the top of our list and we very much recommend you to try it out. The beatiful auberge is far away, secluded in one of europe's most appealing isolated spots, truly a very relaxing culinary paradise. The bar/lounge could not be more cosy. Service is perrfect, not pretentious... More

My 16 year old son and I had a two night stay at the hotel and ate both our dinners as part of a package deal that included breakfast and the room. It is interesting to read the reviews and see the diverse opinions on the food and the owners. Our experience falls into the very positive camp. The owners... More

We had lunch and paid 360 euro for an ok menu but for hideously expensive and overpriced wines The service was bad to say the least The masters of the house did not occupy themselves with the diners Overall not worth the detour

Had a great time in this quiet romantic location. Owners (couple) are very nice and pleasant. Food was good. Coffee was not my favorite but must admit I'm difficult with coffee Prices as expected. Not far from Bouillon and several nice little villages. Great place if you look for some peaceful retreat for a few days. Very good overall experience!

The concept is what my title states: It is the combination of a top restaurant with an excellent hotel which makes this place to what it is. It is very understandable and acceptable that staying here should be a combination of both elements. It is for a very good reason part of the R&C label. It is a place to... More

Magnificent hotel in the middle of nature, seems like the end of the world. The restaurant rates one star in the Michelin Guide and 15/20 by Gault Millau and is worth your visit! We stayed there 2 nights, friday night and saturday night. Upon reservation you have to book a table in the restaurant for each evening. Diner is being... More

Most hotels have their own restaurant, but the Auberge du Moulin Hideux is a restaurant with its own hotel. The Michelin-starred restaurant is excellent, and the obligation to eat at the restaurant when staying at the hotel guarantees that you make the most of your stay. The Auberge is set in a quiet forest in the Ardennes region of Belgium... More

. . . one of the hotel's selling points is a lack of mobile phone reception. It also doesn't have satellite TV or WiFi in the bedrooms, so there is nothing to distract you from relaxing in the grounds, listening to the babbling brook, and above all, enjoying the food in the wonderful restaurant. Not cheap, but worth the expense... More
