This was our two week holiday with two children and we had the most amazing time. The villa itself is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend it to friends. We stayed in La Colle which was huge with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen area was not great but was ample for our needs and the furnishings and accessories are... More

We were a family of five in search of a genuine Tuscan experience - and that is precisely what we got. Francesca and Leonardo are fantastic hosts - when it came to leave it felt like we were leaving old friends behind. The five of us stayed in a two bed apartment (parents in one room, three daughters in another)... More

My wife and I just had one night at la fagianaia but would very happily have stayed many more. The place is beautifully secluded with great views and the villa is a classic Tuscan farmhouse. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and we had an incredible dinner which included homemade pasta and their own wine and olive oil. Francesca... More

The road isnt as bad as some of the comments make out, and the villa is just as pretty as others do. Plenty of hidey holes in the garden to sit and devour books under the sun. Dinner was a treat with great wine matching. The room was lovely, quality soft furnishings very well finished. and we had some invigorating... More

We stayed at la fagianaia for the last 2 weeks in June 2013. Prior to our stay my various communications with Francesca had been informative and she had shown a lot of patience in responding to my (many) questions. Top tip stick with her directions and don't come off the motorway too early as it is a longer and more... More

An incredible holiday we'll never forget. After searching for weeks for a great week holiday we finally came across Villa La Fagianaia. The great reviews about Francesca's cooking made the decision to stay even easier. Unlike many properties in the higher hills of Tuscany this property has a paved road that leads all the way - nobody needs to carry... More

Villa Fagianaia was just not for us. The villa was very, very hard to find and although driving a small car, some of the curves in the road up the hill were too small to take in one time. The swimming pool was filled with leaves and the chairs near the pool were dirty. Not very inviting to take a... More

Very nice residence, with decent pool and an amazing view over the region. The tenants are absolutely charming and we felt at home after 30 seconds. We have been very well treated and had an amazing dinner there with many courses and extras! We will be back next time we are in the region for sure! This is the true... More

Tucked away up the hill, surrounded by an olive orchard with an exquisite view over the plane streched out down below. I had the great pleasure of staying with Francesca and Leo for a long period of time. During my 3 months in italy i was able to stay with them for over a month in total encompassing 3 different...
