Beautiful house decorated with great care and taste with antiques, art and luxury furnishings. This is top end stuff but not remotely stuffy. The hosts are so welcoming, hospitable and entertaining, it feels almost like you're visiting friends. The rooms are huge, comfortable and divine. Breakfast delicious round the dining table - very sociable. We had a great birthday weekend... More

We wanted somewhere special to go for an anniversary weekend treat. The Old Rectory is certainly special - fabulous setting, wonderful rooms and decor, delicious breakfast - and very friendly and welcoming hosts. Wander into the the lovely village of Pembridge (five minutes stroll) and visit the beautiful church and the numerous pubs, restaurants and the award winning shop/tea room... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a surprise night away. It was perfect and I loved everything about it. The house and gardens are stunning. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet so I had a great nights sleep. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was... More

We stayed here on our wedding night and couldn't have found a better place to spend our first night as husband and wife. The owners are a lovely couple and are very accommodating doing over and above what they need to. It is a fantastic, very well looked after house in a lovely village and you will not receive a... We stayed here for 3 nights and as the only guests Phil and Lynne made us feel very spoilt. Aside from our bedroom, which was exceptional, we also had the use of the formal dining room and drawing room all to ourselves. The facilities were beyond compare to anything we'd stayed in to date and truly 5 star. Phil and... More

My husband and I stayed 2nights in this beautiful house and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Owners Phil and Lynn were attentive hosts and made our stay extremely comfortable . The Old Rectory has been restored with love and attention that is in keeping with a house of this age and style, you can see it... More

This was a base for our visit to the Hay Festival and it was an amazing find. The building has been beautifully restored, with every comfort you could want in the large bedrooms, drawing room and dining room. Lynn and Phil are extremely welcoming and friendly hosts who make you feel at home immediately and have much helpful information about... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were in Hereford for a friends wedding, from start to finish everything was faultless. Lynn and Phil are so welcoming, you really feel that you are at home rather than just staying at another hotel. All of the rooms and the hotel in general are stunning, we didn't want for anything during... More

No, I've not actually stayed there as I live down the road, but I got the guided tour when I booked two of my friends in there for three nights. I've also sat in the garden and shared a coffee with the owners. This is a wonderfully renovated building with stunning rooms and great facilities. The breakfast was very good,... More
