The setting is incredible, the castle is conserved wonderfully and really clean. The overall ambiance is just perfect. We went for a walk in the gardens that was peaceful and well manicured. But... As we are a young couple we were definitely judged by the staff and the managers for being there. We were in our early twenties and even... More

We were looking for a top level country hotel for our stop off in the area. We were very happy to have decided on this family owned Chateau-farm. The staff are friendly and the building/grounds very pleasant. The bar is comfortable and the restaurant very good, beautiful atmosphere. The room was OK, the pillows awful and the bathroom old and... More

I found trued hospitality, having been directed through the traffic jam of Paris I arrived exhausted but the warm welcome, the delicious dinner made me forget it all. nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was cosy and so well designed , very spacious. the surround is perfect for those travelling with dogs and the owners go out of their... More

The property is lovely. Food was delicious at dinner as well as breakfast. The wine tastings were a very nice touch. Definitely recommend room request, as ours was in the attic, warm & not very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights this summer. Our room (actually suite) was not in the main house, but rather in a smaller building near the entrance. But do not let that fool you. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury, with a huge living room (large old stone fireplace), very comfortable bedroom,... More

Fantastic hotel and grounds, very helpful and friendly owners who put in a lot of effort to sort out our car problems at the time . We had a fantastic stay and the food is superb at a reasonable price.we will definitley visit again.

Lovely location and wonderful chateau with beautiful grounds , stayed one night with dinner and breakfast , staff very good also food and service, but room dated , shower over bath not fitted to wall, not what we expected for the 5 star rating and price, anything extra very expensive , came away disappointed

What a wonderful experience! We stayed at the King Room. That is the rooms where the king of France stayed where he visited the region. in the 15th-16th century. While the gastronomic restaurant is perfect for adults, they also have selective menu for the children in the same michelin star quality. The owners (and all the staff) are very friendly... More

This place is like entering an enchanted world. This charming Chateau was built between XIII and XVI, with 100acres of perfectly manicured grounds to explore, surrounded by an original moat, it feels like a step back in time to your own fantasy world. The Staff were embracing and attentive without being “too” present and their customer service was nothing short... More

I am not sure why this place is so highly rated. Our experience was horrendous. Our room was under the eaves with no air conditioning which made it impossible to sleep on a hot summer night. The decor was dated and tired looking. The bathrooms need to be renovated. The bathroom lights had dead insects clustered around the bulbs. After... More
