Stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting the Blair European Eventing championships. Had a lovely stay made to feel very welcome. Good location, great rooms with everything you need and amazing breakfasts. Would also recommend The Atholl for an evening meal great food freshly made and a nice friendly welcome.

My wife and i and 2 friends stayed at The Hollyburn last weekend while attending Rewind Festival. We got an extremely friendly welcome and the whole weekend we got fantastic service from the hosts Brenda and Ian. Rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, with lots of niceities. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and well presented. Brenda and Ian really go out their... More

We came across this Bed & Breakfast by chance and oh boy what a find! The rooms were immaculate and the little special touches just made the stay more wonderful. The bed was so comfortable and clean, there were hot water bottles in the bedside cabinets, little individual fruit polo sweeties in a dish, even little tubes of toothpaste, a... More

Excellent central location. Easy reach of the Cairngorms national park. We explored the Cairngorms, Dalwhinnie and Edradour distilleries, museums, Pitlochry including the festival theatre, Perth, Stonehaven and the east coast - Dunnottar castle and RSPB Fowlsheugh. Fantastic breakfasts. Lovely friendly owner and friendly village. Bankfoot inn makes excellent dinners and folk sessions on Wednesday nights very welcoming. Highly recommended B&B.

I stayed at this superb B&B on my walk across Scotland. Bankfoot is a small village with a few guest houses and a hotel - The Bankfoot Inn, a small and cosy hotel with a jam session (folk music) when I was there. Great atmosphere and they served a decent meal. The Hollyburn was friendly and the first thing the... More

Needed a one night stay near Birnam and found this little gem, a lovely sunlit few mile drive along the back roads. Absolutely spotless throughout, my room was tastefully co-ordinated, had a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was tasty and I appreciated having my own jug of milk and orange juice. The hostess is very welcoming and... More

Stayed on way home after business trip. Outside appearance belies really well adapted and modernised old cottage on main street of village - barely a mile from the A9 exit. Looks like three bedrooms are available, and really comfortable and warm. Balcony with seating and garden at rear are just lovely, and given the street view, a delightful surprise. Pub... More

My fiancée and I stayed here for New Years Eve and loved it. The Hollyburn is clean, the rooms are lovely and there is a great reception / living room with a roaring fire, games and books. Brenda was a delightful host, friendly and accommodating when we arrived and then providing a great breakfast in the morning. Very observant too... More

Recently stayed here with my wife whilst visiting family nearby. We found everything, and I mean everything, about Hollyburn to be excellent - the welcome, the room, the food, the en-suite, etc. Brenda was very accommodating and flexible to all our needs. One simple example of this was that our small grandson asked to stay with us for a sleepover... More
