This hotel is a gem, the village of Crillon la Brave is perched at the top of hill just like so many villages in the Luberon capped by the lovely church with its bell tower. Cleverly using the tumbling houses around the church there is the beauty of this delightful hotel. Keeping the authenticity of the houses they have incorporated... More

Just a quick review since I have already reviewed Hotel Crillon le Brave and it is still as good as it ever was. However, we have never visited the hotel before with a dog and, for all the dog owners out there, I can tell you that the staff could not have been more welcoming. We visited within a couple... Crillon le Brave will surpass every expectation you could have for a holiday in the countryside of Provence. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and kept spotlessly clean. Sebastien, the General manager, is charismatic, hands-on and extremely warm and welcoming. Benoit, the sommelier, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in all things concerned with the Hotel, wine choices, and finding/arranging off property... More

Stands almost like a beacon in the middle of a great plain, so that views from the upper floors (no lift!) stretch over huge distances. Excellent food - both in the bistro and the fine dining, and breakfasts on the terrace encourage loitering, again due to the views. Swimming pool in a slightly small area - very little patio. Great... More

The views overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful buildings where this lovely hotel is set is just stunning. Nothing was overlooked attention to detail in everyway. The service was exceptional in everyway and the breakfasts outside on the terrace as well as the lovely dinner we had there too. We even had the breakfast plates especially made and shipped back... Crillon le Brave is a wonderful hotel nestled amongst the buildings of the village at the top of a hill overlooking Provence. The staff was incredibly friendly and truly went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed for an extraordinary visit. My husband and I booked the Crillon for Two package that included dinner, massages,... More

Hostellerie Crillon le Brave rises above the vineyards of the Vaucluse, east of Avignon and Orange, overlooking Mont Ventoux. Built by restoring the houses of a French hilltop village, the hotel provides the finest and most discreet service I have ever been provided in France. The staff, the kitchen, the grounds each have exactly the right touch to make you... More

If you could imagine the most beautiful Provencal setting in which to base your time in France, this is the place. It is simply breathtaking. Not only do you get wonderful views however, you also get top notch service, amazing food and an overall royal treatment the entire time you are a guest. My family rented a car and took... More

Though a bit far from everywhere that we had to go (make sure you have a guide and driver for the area), you really can't ask for more if you're looking for an extraordinary Provence experience. Breakfast is simply superb and make sure to get a reservation at the restaurant in the evening, great ambience and value.
