Neat, authentic and quiet. You will get all the privacy and space in this Los desert residence.Has been restored and maintained with minimum adherence to modernism.Located in the dusty Nawalgarh town, it will help you to know that it is the starting point for many horse riding safaris they operate in winters, during high season time.Evenings are so much to yourself... The trip to this place was unplanned and we took a bus to Jaipur from Delhi without any clue where we were planning to go. On reaching Jaipur early morning and after consulting some friends, we took a bus to Nawalgarh. Since we visited in April 2013, it was pretty hot at that time and most hotels were under renovation/preparing... More

We stayed for only 1 night here. The property itself is magnificent with sprawling laws, stables and peacocks all the time. Service was ok but the food was very bad as were the beds - the linen and bedding needs serious upgrade. Maybe we went at a bad time since the resort was full up to capacity but it was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with a group of students and friends from France on 6,7th March, for the 3rd time in the last 5 years. It is a fantastic place with friendly, attentive service, good food and beautiful surroundings, The rooms are very comfortable, there is plenty of hot water and the bathrooms are clean and bright with... We stayed a Roop Niwas Koti for 3 nights in late January. We had a fantastic room, which reminded us of an old house from the Raj. It was clean, warm (fan heater as it was cold at night and early morning), had a good shower. The staff were friendly and tried to help as much as possible. The down... More

Our tour company (trinetra tours) recommended we stop over here to enjoy a bit of the quiet country life before heading on to Jaipur. As with all their recommendations, we were not disappointed. Warm friendly staff greeted us with a glass of cool juice. The hotel is a heritage place and is worth exploring. Our suite was clean and comfortable.... More

In the nicest possible way this hotel didn't feel like one - it looked like a heritage hotel and had lovely verandas and gardens, plus a very good sized pool - but somehow it felt like we had landed in someone's country home and taken residence whilst they had popped out. The staff were great and had a whiff of... More

Very warm hospitality and large, well appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. Attentive service and beautiful grounds. There is a shop on the premises with a good selection of the usual artefacts... Rugs, textiles, pashminas etc. etc. at fair prices

If you want to experience the ethos of Shekhawati in those intangible ways that define the essence of a place, this hotel is an excellent choice. It is a beautiful heritage place, staffed by people who understand the true meaning of hospitality. No plastic smiles and cliched phrases here; just authentic consideration and courtesy, and pleasant attentive service. The hotel... More
