If you have a car and don't need to be in the middle of the Punta craziness, this little gem of a hotel is an amazing refuge. The garden is lush and full of lavender which may be why time spent sunning by the tiny pool requires no big repellent. Anna makes the orange juice fresh from the trees in... More

...are the rooms, grounds, and hosts, who also happen to be charming, over-the-top hospitable and extremely accommodating. There is no other place like this -- I used to go to Uruguay just to visit family, now there's another reason...

We like to go to Punta Del Este during the low season. With affordable prices, we can explore the best places in the area. For some reason, the most attractive places to be are located a little bit far from downtown, specially in Punta Ballena. Villa Toscana was an amazing surprise. If you are looking for a small charming place... More

OMG is all i can say.....being a travel agent i have slept in an abundance of hotels and i can recommend Villa Toscana as the only place to stay for your visit to PDE. It is a mere 10minutes drive to the center of town. Anna is an amazing hostess. She really goes the extra mile. From the rooms that... More

Villa Toscana was our final selection for a 7 night stay 20 to 26 .12.2012 after all other searches advised that Punta is fully booked in December and only Top $$ will give you reasonable lodging. ( more later on this subject ) Villa Toscana is a funky place hidden in the woods approx 20 km from Punta , its... More

Absolutely heaven from heaven. Anna and Errit are something else and nothing is too much trouble. They excel in making their guests feel totally relaxed, extremely comfortable and special. We have stayed in many grand hotels throughout the world but never have we experienced anything quite so unique - it was a priviledge to have been part of this 'home'... More

Errit and Anna have created Villa Toscana as a magnificent 5 star boutique hotel. The villa is a place of great beauty, luxury, tranquility and contentment. The highest quality of linens, beds, art, accessories, etc. was evident and greatly appreciated. As you can see from the photos on their website, the gardens and each one of the 8 suites has... The owners of this place, Errit and Anna, excel in hospitality and making your stay enjoyable. Errit offered us a gift of his time and took us on an insiders back-roads tour of the area, personally in his own car - it did not cost us a penny! Interaction with the hosts was a very pleasant add-on to an overall... More

Spectacular experience to stay at Villa Toscana where the host couple, Anna and Errit, declared that I should feel at home. It is quite impossible because NO homes will ever be able to create the atmosphere and hospitality as they have done at Villa Toscana!. They have managed to create a truly unique place. I'll definitely be back soon!
