This was the perfect place for our visit to The Somme. It is beautifully appointed, all attention paid to detail and extremely comfortable. The rooms are large including the bathroom and the peaceful view out of the windows is an added feature. It is slightly dearer than some accommodation in the area but well worth the added cost. We have just returned from a trip to the Somme to visit a relations grave and the battlefields. Chateau d'Omiecourt was in an ideal place. The rooms were tastefull decorated French style and very clean. The owners were very friendly and prepare a good homemade (most of it homemade) breakfast which is served in an elegant dining room (candles included).... more

I stayed here for 2 nights on my way from Paris to Arras. Its about 1 hr from CDG airport, just off the main autoroute north. The chateau has been in the family for generations and is very tastefully furnished in classic French style, and is very comfortable.
