Have been here half a dozen times now but this was the first time after a three year break. Absolutely fabulous place. Built in an old quarry so it's all higgledy-piggledy with pitches of varying sizes/shapes etc, some down in the bottom and shady and some up at the top and sunny. It's as far removed from the 'pitches in... More

This is a nice site. We were thinking of touring but decided to stay. Good sized pitches and you can literally set up where you like. No problems with power or water. The site had a nice pool and child play area. There is Wifi available in the bar area, this bar area is also where you order fresh bread... More

It's ok to sleep there. Overall I wouldn't advise you. The owner is trying his best but in this business trying isn't good enough. Building a poor pool doesn't help much. The sanitary is poor aswel. I will not visit this camping again

We visited on 4-6 June. We were a youth group of 8. We had 2 cabins. Cabin fully equipped with electric kettle, microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Gas hob. Even washing up liquid provided. Bedrooms one with double bed, then 2 bunks plus single in 2nd bedroom. Full bathroom with shower etc. Value for money excellent. Owner very helpful. Swimming pool... More

The owner was incredibly helpful to us and speaks perfect English, he even phoned for a pizza delivery. The site itself is quirky, a mix of open pitches and very secluded woodland pitches in an old quarry. The showers are warm but far frim hot unfortunately and the toilets have no seats so are a little chilly. There is a... More

We stayed there over bank holiday weekend for the Chantilly Triathlon 7km away. The owner was really lovely and provided us with everything we need. We had a camper car and a tent for 4 people and we were told to choose our own site. The campsite is divided into sections separated by trees or a hill. Kids (and kids... More

It was august but the forecast was wet so we opted not to put our small tent up and instead rent a.gypsy caravan. Being cyclists we had very little in the way of comforts such as chairs and tables so a caravan with somewhere to cook, eat and sleep was luxury for us. We stayed 4 nights and couldn't fault... This is an interesting site created in a quarry. There are positives and negatives to this site. What i am about to write is my opinion from our weeks holiday. Firstly the manager/owner. He was really nice, very pleasant and VERY helpful however i can understand why some people may misinterpret his actions. He works extremely hard keeping that place... More

We stayed one night in bungalow number 1. The bungalow was very dirty, all over there was some dirt, including the beds. It was smelling cigarettes badly. In the end we couldn't sleep in the bedroom, as the smell was terrible and beds were full of dirt. So we ended up to sleep in the main room, witch was missing... More

We stayed at this site on Friday 4 October 2013, as we were catching a ferry home on the Saturday. We found it by looking in the Carefree Caravan and Camping guide. It looked on paper ok. We booked in with the owner at 5pm. Seemed relaxed, took our money but did not take our name address etc, and did... More
