Staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly, there was a good menu and lots of specials. The food was excellent, as was the wine,and we felt it was good value for money. we would certainly eat here again.

Visited here on a Friday night, very busy but the staff were able to accommodate us at short notice. Menu was fairly limited, but there were some specials and several vegetarian dishes. First 2 items I chose were sold out, 3rd choice wash addict and chips. Fish was over cooked and chips weren't great either. Good atmosphere though and would... More

Stopped off for a bite to eat on the way home yesterday. It's a lovely looking place with friendly people. I ordered home made burger, and I have to say, it was one of the best I have ever tasted. My partner had gammon which was also very good, served with chunky chips. Will make a point of going there... More

Stayed over night in the last room available, last minute. But wasn't disappointed, it was a small double,with a beautiful view . Which included full breakfast at £65 We ate at the pub and drank the on tap beer which was brilliant! I had the sea bass off the blackboard special menu and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and... More

The Bull inn is an excellent experience. Lovely location, friendly staff good food well priced. Don't listen to bad reviews they must be either rivals or on medication. Would n't hesitate to go back. There was enough choice { i mean you can only eat one meal for goodness sake}

Visited Friday early evening, been here here before and food was very good but seems to have gone downhill. Prices have gone up, menu restricted, specials included fish fingers! Food took about 30 minutes to arrive despite there being only a few other tables eating, hardly any veg with very hard carrots, my colleagues tomatoe with gammon was only warmed... More

We were camping nearby so called in for supper after a walk. We couldn't fault the quality of service and food. Hubby had the steak pie..... WOW it was filled with quality beef steak and beautiful cooked. Certainly not microwave fare. I had a Yorkshire board, this had fabulous ham and Wensleydale cheeses on, as well as crusty bread and... It appears that the Bull Inn is under new management. The menu included no chicken or lamb. The Risotto was like sludge and the Carrot soup was over-spiced. The staff handled the complaint well but the standard of food seems to have dropped dramatically since our last visit over a year ago. The Specials board showed only two items and... More
