My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica for our honeymoon, with our final 3 nights at Finca Rosa Blanca, where the hotel and staff simply blew us away and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the incredible Rosa Blanca suite, which was the best room in the house! There are many beautiful hotels in Costa Rica. Finca... more

This is one of the most authentically integritous places I've stayed, anywhere...like being at a friend's house that is an art museum and spa and organic farm all in one, with mindful artistic attention to all the comforts you could want in an eco-conscious manner: from a chemical-free beautiful pool to soft, high quality bamboo sheets, from local, fresh, delicious... more

Definitely a place to visit ... the ride a little bumpy, but then again, the more you travel in Costa Rica, the bumpier it gets! Rosa Finca Blanca is uniquely designed, with hand made tiles and murals in the rooms, which were lovely. We had a patio in which to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, we never got to tour the... more

I needed a little R&R since I'm caring for a loved one with cancer. My daughter found Finca Rosa Blanca on the Internet -- searching for a sustainable, yet upscale hotel. We were both so very pleased and surprised to find this lovely spot. The staff were energetic and friendly. The food was delicious - local and some grown on... more

My family and I stayed in 3 different hotels in Costa Rica, but THIS is the best!!!!! The rooms are unique and very special!!!! The staff is very friendly; Ezri is really good, always saying yes to all and willing to help the guests. Then in the restaurant Omar and Jose where very good, always a BIG smile!!! Buuuut!!!! The... more

We stayed at this hotel the first and last nights of our vacation in Costa Rica last week. It was our favorite hotel of the three we stayed in. It's about thirty minutes from the airport, but worth it. The hotel is set on a coffee plantation which overlooks San Jose. We stayed in the main house in two different... more

The most delightful ambience and rooms. Staff was incredibly helpful. It is a delight to be away from the crowd. Close enough to Cafe Britt Coffee Plantation tours. more

We stayed at Finca Rosa Blanca for one night, the last night of our honeymoon. So my review might be a little tainted by the fact that we were about to leave wonderful Costa Rica after two weeks. And we had just stayed at the Four Seasons and Lapa Rios among other places, so Finca Rosa Blanca had some hard... more

This was our final hotel for one night on honeymoon, and we loved it!!! It is visually stunning-unusual, quirky, Gaudi-esque, with quite beautiful gardens and has a fabulous view-well we did from our balcony from La piedra . We had a bed built on a rock! We arrived and booked in, then had a quick tour round. The pool is... more

We liked: the coffee tour, the sustainability efforts, the food and the room was good. Service was mixed and condition of the pool and buildings is a bit faded. Our friends were in the main building and had a small room with construction noises that ruined their stay. One to two nights are plenty. It's very isolated and most activities... more
