This is my second visit to Finca Rosa Blanca, and it was like coming home to old friends. The waiter remembered us from a year and half ago, and everything was as perfect as we remembered. The rooms are so unique, and the amenities are wonderful -- some delicious-smelling made-in-Costa-Rica stuff. The food is very good, and the grounds are... More

Stayed for one night prior to flying out. Gorgeous place with stunning views over the city in the evening. Room was lovely. Food was the best we had in 10 days in CR. We even had a man next to us propose to his girlfriend (apparently it is the place San Josians go to propose- the waiter said they have... More

Stayed in the Laguna Villa, family vacation. King size beds - probably the most comfortable sleep I have had on a vacation. Open atmosphere of the rooms allowed for natural A/C - very comfortable, not to hot and not too cool. The patio had great views, was secluded, and allowed for a quiet wake up with tea/coffee or relaxing glass... More

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our 14 day surprise vacation that I planned for my husband's 60th birthday. I wanted the first 2 nights to be extra special and extra special they were! We stayed in the El Cielo Suite - WONDERFUL!! I would normally never spend that kind of money on a hotel room, but... More

Our small group of four just returned from the"Coffee, Chocolate and Cheese Trail" package, a collaboration of Finca Rosa Blanca and Monte Azul. Our expectations were high, based on various reviews of these organizations as well as photos and videos we found. This trip exceeded all expectations! We didn't expect to be pampered and fed to the extent we were,... More

We stayed there for two nights ! Their restaurant 'el tigre vestido' has amazing dishes, really fresh and great service ! We had a villa which was ok! All in all a great place to stay when you dont want to be confronted to the stress of san jose downtown. Their coffe plantation is bio certified and worth a visit... More

By way of introductory we (family of 4 including two boys aged 13 and 15) visited Costa Rica for 13-nights over July-Aug 2015 during which we took in 6 destinations: Finca Rosa Blanca (near San Jose); Manatus Hotel (Tortuguero); Pacuare Lodge (near Siquirres); Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa (la Fortuna), El Silencio Lodge & Spa (Bajos del Toro); and Four... Childhood memories of visiting relatives in the mountains--sleeping with the windows open, waking up to the roosters in the nearby village, watching the sun rise and set. At Finca Rosa Blanca, they all came flooding back. When we were shown our suite (the newly built El Cielo), we almost gasped. You enter a small but comfortable sitting room with local... More

This is a great place to start a trip to Costa Rica. We went to the hotel directly from the San Jose airport. The restaurant is outdoors and has fabulous views. We stayed in the Rosa Blanca suite, which is fun. The main bedroom is in a turret, which also has amazing views. The bathroom is two stories and has... More

It was quite a luxury to find this place and end our honeymoon on a high. We ended up staying two nights and deciding against going back into San Jose to another place we had booked. Why? Because the roads are tedious! The food was second to none and the staff were lovely. The room was wonderful and the pillow... More
