It was our second time at the island. We love Anse Marcel beach and found this small boutique resort in the hart of area. Because it's not on the beach ( about 10 min away), we enjoy quiet time when you need it. It's a small, nice, boutique style resort with great owner Mari. Upon our arrival, she upgraded our... More

Anse Marcel is a truly fantastic spot on a great and diverse island. Marie is a fantastic hostess and made sure our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms are just huge, beautifully decorated, perfectly maintained and offer incredible views of this privileged area. The atmosphere is that of an exclusive and relaxed boutique hotel. With a rental car, we were... More

After a disappointing experience on the Dutch Side, we returned to Anse Marcel, this time staying at the Privilege Hotel. What a beautiful spot! Tucked up on the hill overlooking Anse Marcel Beach with a lovely pool and deck area, and a great room. We stayed in the Safari Room which was wonderfully decorated and had a large balcony looking... I have been traveling to St. Martin for about 15 years now and had never heard of this hotel. I stumbled upon it accidentally and decided to give it a try, and am so happy I did. It is the most charming, picturesque, boutique hotel with sparkling clean and beautifully decorated rooms, and views that look like they came from... More

This was one of the cutest and aesthetically pleasing places I have ever stayed at. Obviously if you are wanting to stay in a quaint little cove such as this, you will be required to drive over a "mountain" (really more like a large hill for those who read the review below)...that is the nature of a cove. If you... More

What can I say? First visit to SXM? I was looking for a bargain? Last minute? I am an idiot! Where to start? Okay...to get there..pack a lunch. Don't get in at night. You have to drive over what I referred to as "The mountian of death". Seriously, you have to go over this huge mountian that you can only... More

As a family of four with 2 kids (ages 8&10) we found the Hotel Privilege to be just right. The peaceful, laid-back setting of Anse Marcel and its picturesque beach, the spaciousness and comfort of our duplex suite and the hospitality of the hotel manager, Bernard, made our 7-night visit to St. Martin a wonderful one.

If you're after casinos, shopping and night spots, you want to be on the Dutch side of the island. For crowds and parties, try Orient Beach. But if you're looking for a well-priced hotel with a private beach on the French side -- this is it. We've stayed here two years running, and would go back in a flash. All... More

I had to stay in Anse Marcel Marina and this was the only "reasonable" hotel I could find in the area. There were many beautiful hotels there but this was the one I could afford. We had a nice room with a loft bedroom with a bathtub and 2 sinks and downstairs we had the livingroom, bathroom with 1 sink... More
