The room was ok, but the prices are much too high for what you get. Also for dinner we paid much more than is reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food and drinks we had. This area is not cheap, but this place is not a good deal.

Stayed here because the weather turned on my way to Bourg over l'Iseran. Room was basic but OK. Restaurant was good. Seemed OK for the price. Internet was hit and miss as others have mentioned. The motorbike parking was really good with a secure garage. Was OK but would probably try somewhere else next time.

A two star hotel with 4 star service and restaurant. Stayed for a week over New Year - exceptional Gala Dinner. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room compact, but fir for purpose. Plenty of storage for equipment - ski bus stops outside the hotel. Very good value. Only two gripes - flaky internet and limited TV channel availability.

Stayed in this hotel with my two children on a skiing holiday. The owners are very welcoming and offered to cook for us when, after a delay, we arrived at 11pm. The rooms are comfortable and clean and beautifully warm when you come back from a day outside in the winter. The restaurant serves local Savoie dishes, all very tasty... More

We recommend this hotel/area as a destination summer or winter for quiet, small village atmosphere and plenty of nature/birding/walking opportunities plus skiing of course. The hotel is well furnished with cheering bright bedroom furnishings, clean carpets, cupboards, comfortable beds, and superb modern bath, and... More

The Hotel: My husband & I stayed here over xmas 2008, and we were very impressed with the hotel. The web photos don't really do it justice as it is certainally not as dated as it looks. Our room (101) had a large balcony and brand new bathroom and a great view. Also the beds appeared brand new and perfect... More

My partner and I visited The Etoile Des Neiges hotel in Val Cenis France between 26 Feb 06 - 5 March 06. We had a lovely time, the hotel staff are most welcoming considering its a mainly french area! The food at the hotel is fantastic, with lots of traditional savoie food. The hotel was very central and has a... More
