Breathtaking location, great breakfast, friendly staff. We stayed in Hogsback at Away with the Fairies en route to Coffee Bay and we absolutely loved this town. On recommendation from fellow travelers we made our way to The Edge to take in the beautiful views and enjoyed a lovely breakfast here. This should be an absolute haven for the soul searcher.

The Edge offers spectacular views but some cottages are not close to the labyrinth and restaurant, which is OK. We stayed one night in Daedalus and another in Pin Oak. Daedalus is close to the labyrinth and the Edge but Pin Oak is on another yard but still walking distance. The accommodation is clean and firewood is provided. The staff... More

We stayed in a neat and clean chalet, "Tweeny's Cottage", with beds for four people. Everything that we needed was there. It was within walking distance of the very good restaurant at The Edge Mountain Retreat as well as the famous labyrinth and the viewpoint over the ravine at "The Edge". There was firewood available in the chalet for a... More

I went with my teenage daughter and we had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check in early. We stayed in a small cottage, Daedalus' Shelter and it was perfect for us. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds very comfortable and even the bathroom and shower was perfect. Good shower and enough hot... More

My husband and I stayed over in the Firefly cottage for one night during our honeymoon roadtrip. Overall an okay stay, but extremely overpriced for what you are getting. The kitchen is in dire need of an upgrade and there is a general lack of attention to detail. Also not nearly as close to the cliff's edge as they would... More

We stayed at the Edge for 2 nights in July. I would never stay here again and would recommend to avoid this place. We stayed in one of the B&B garden rooms. However this is just a pretty name. In reality these are motel like rooms that even lack basic hygiene. We arrived at 2:30 pm, half an hour after... More

I've been to Hogsback a bit and always felt everything needed a good wipe and the service was glacier slow- but not this time. Our lovely garden room- cherry blossom was a real treat. Electric blankets, a panel heater and a fireplace helped keep us warm but the bathroom is a fridge and could use a heated towel rail. Even... More
