We stayed in the bungalow, a self catering building, surrounded by wildlife in Ingrid's wonderful Garden. It consisted of a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom/lounge, a pourch and an area of garden with a table and chairs. The bed was a standard double and very comfortable with an electric blanket. The kitchen had enough cutlery, plates etc for two, a fridge and... More

Good location, just out of the main village but close enough to all the main attractions. Our host and her team were friendly and helpful and the accommodation was comfortable. Our only complaint - but it is rather a showstopper, is in relation to the kitchen. Call me old fashioned but ".... full modern kitchen...." implies that there would be... More

we came to stay here and were a little disappointed - Hogsback was great, the walks beautiful and we loved the butterfly bistro and the Edge was fantastic. But the place we stayed at was a little diappointing - our host when asked what was happening during the period we were there suggested we go to the tourist office the... More

We had a very nice, clean and comfortable appartment. Breakfast was exceptional. ..and last not least, Ingrid (the host) was super cooperative and helpful because of our trouble with the car (stucking in the mud, sunday evening, in the deep forest.). A higly recommended location! Many thanks!

Ingrid is a great host and was very good at confining us to stay for 2 instead of 1 night in Hogsback. We definitely don't regret it. In fact we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the larger of the self catering units and had a great experience - the garden was excellent and the room was a great... More

We stayed for three nights at the Granny Mouse House, and will definitely go back there! The host, Ingrid, did everything to accommodate us, even with a middle-of- the -night arrival. The surroundings are beautiful, with country-like charm. Elizabeth, Ingrid's help, is friendly and very efficient. If you want a quiet, home away from home, breakaway, this is the way... More

Self-catering rondavel The rondavel is small for a multi-night stay but it is fully kitted out as a self-catering unit. The unit is fairly new and clean. The open-plan shower takes some getting used to. Granny Mouse House is off the main road and is in a very quiet area. The owner, Ingrid, is a perfect hostess. She took us... More

We stayed for two nights, and had a lovely time. We've stayed in more luxurious accommodation, and this is a little rustic, but absolutely charming. Being the middle of winter, the electric blankets were perfect. The welcome was lovely and Ingrid is a fantastic cook, we so enjoyed the dinner she made for us on the first night. Starting off... We spent very relaxed an pleasant days at this peaceful place with the very polite land-lady. She served us most delicious breakfast and diner always fresh and carefully prepared. Very nice and clean rooms and generous ambiente. Especially the beautiful garden which you face sitting on your private terrace invites you to stay there the whole day. Johannes and Corinna... More
