The building, the original architecture, the view and the attentive receptionist Anderson are truly what makes you have a nice stay. But don't expect much more. It can be quite of a good experience, depending on the room. Unfortunately, I've got one with broken windows and poor cleaning. And some painting! The owner seems to care little. During my stay,... The hotel is located in an historic building. The room was spacious. The staff was helpful (the shower was fixed straight away). The only negative point was the breakfast which was far below Brazilian standards.

The rooms are enormous with very high (at least 12 feet) ceilings, and some of them have nice views over the Rio Sao Francisco and the lively activities of the waterfront. The staff... More
