We stayed 9 nights in Kelapa Villa. The place is very quiet and relaxing and far from the so called tourist area of Bali. Keep in mind that the airport is 3 hours drive, but if you are already there you never want to leave. The beach is nice, the sea is warm, the waves are perfect to try the... More

We love Bali. But we don't love how Bali in total is exploding with tourisum. So Kelapa is a perfekt alternativ for this. Someone who loves beaches, designed bungalows, nice staff - here is the right place. And when you ask for anything - the staff tries to fullfill all your wishes. We love eating and cooking and had a... More

The Kelapa retreat is wounderfull, we stayed four days and where treated Like god in France. It was the 5th and last hotel before departing and By far the best. It is run with German efficacy to perfection, but with a modern Balinese charmed. Herry the bartender made the best cocktails I had on the island. (they were sublime and... More

My husband and I have just had 2 special nights here. The position is remote and tranquil. The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. They are all lovely. On our second night we ordered the fresh whole fish. A must. But you need to order this the day before. You won't be disappointed. The American breakfast is also... More

Stayed at this beach resort for 2 nights in Jan 2014. Traveled as a couple. In the not (yet) touristy Northwest part of the island, far from the action, with only few suites and almost nothing around, this is a fantastic place for relaxation in peace and isolation. The atmosphere is cozy and personal, the environment is quiet and peaceful.... More

We stayed 3 nights in October 2013, we really enjoyed it. Of course it's far from everything but the black sand beach is amazing, there are not a lot of rooms so you enjoy your privacy. We loved the swimming pool and the outdoor shower ! If you like surfing that's a place to go for sure !

The grounds of Kelapa Retreat are so beautiful it feels like paradise. I love the beach, which has soft black sand and nobody on it or in it. I was there four days and never saw anyone in the beautiful clear waters. You hear the waves crashing. No noises other than nature. In fact, two guys on motor bikes were... More

This is a place to go if you need quiet time to just relax. My husband and I spent 4 nights at Kelapa Retreat. The rooms were large, clean and beautiful. Large comfy beds and beautiful furniture. It would be nice to have some amenities like shower caps etc. Also, no bedroom slippers but we called up front reception and... More

We`d stayed at Kelapa Retreat 8 nights for our Wedding. We had a Wedding Organisator there and everything was perfect. The members of the team are all very friendly and they`ve made our stay unpossible to forget. The rooms are very clean and large. Daily change of the towels and bed linen. The food was very delicious and diverse. The... More
