Check in was friendly and easy. The room was an executive suite i got for $140 on wotif.com. - BARGAIN! Room included: King bed, lounge + lounge chair, table, tv, spa, shower. Biggest hotel bathroom i've ever seen, spa + shower, lots of space! King bed was very comfortable, the rooms were VERY CLEAN. I would stay here again for... more

We needed somewhere to stay that was clean, close to the shops and affordable. We got all this and more at the Mantra Parramatta! Whilst the rooms were only small, they had all we needed, comfortable clean bed, clean bathroom, fridge, internet access (not free) and a few pay TV chanels. Walking distance to Parramatta Westfield, and plenty of restaurants.... more

I had stayed at this hotel last year and liked it. So when I had to visit Parramatta again, I found the Hotel's name had changed. I was a bit apprenhensive due to this change. Though, I found it has changed for the better. The reception area looked different, more modern. I had booked for a studio and was happy... more

Fantastic location near the train station. Room was adequately sized and fairly clean although a little shabby. I suppose you get what you pay for. What ruined my experience at the Mantra is their unscrupulous and excessive internet charges. I have never stayed at a hotel anywhere in the world that had this policy. Negatives: - Unreasonable internet charges. (I... more

Decided to get away for a night with our boys. We got an Executive Spa suite which had a fold out sofa bed for the kids at $150 inc breakfast. Unfortunately the good deal wasn't so good due to having very little sleep. We were all woken at 4am by an intoxicated guest trying to get into our room. We... more

Negatives: - Room was a little small - Hotel room key cards worked on and off during the stay - Air conditioning was a little warm Positive: - Room very clean - Great location - Fantastic sticky date pudding, although only about a teaspoon of icecream was served with it! Overall it was a good stay. I booked this through... more

We just returned from 2 nights at this property. We are a family of 4 (children ages 10 and 7) and we had a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the living room. The positives for this place were the location, having the extra space over a regular hotel room, 2 televisions and the kitchenette. The location was... more

Looking for a place to stay on the way to the Blue Mountains, but everything in Parramatta seemed to be booked. Ended up at this hotel. Adequate size, though older decor. Non-smoking floor reeked of cigarette smoke, though none in the room. Beautiful view of the parking structure- what do you expect. However, having said that, staff friendly and room... more
