We had a great nights stay at New House Farm, Emma was very welcoming and gave us tea and homemade biscuits! We had great views of the countryside and a very peaceful nights sleep! We were recommended the Kilcot Inn for dinner and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast was lovely and we had all that we could eat. If your after... More

I visited on business and felt so welcome. I was greeted with a pot of tea and lemon dizzle cake on my arrival which was so nice and hospitable. I stayed in the four poster bed which I would recommend. The bed was so comfy. I also had a great view of the gardens, countryside, a summer sunset and a... More

Stayed at New House Farm whilst visiting family in the area with my 4 yr old. Stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. Very comfortable. Greeted by a gorgeous black Labrador & Mrs. Smith. Tea & coffee facilities in room with a tin of homemade flapjack! A guest dining room & lounge, (with TV, magazines and lots of leaflets... More

This was probably the best B&B I've ever stayed at. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was sumptuous. There were fresh towels, bottled water, tea and coffee Facilities, telly and hair dryer. Homemade biscuits made us feel very special indeed. The views and walks are astounding.

An excellent place to stay! Our host was welcoming, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, with many of the items sourced from the attached farm. We stayed in the bedroom with the four poster bed and It had lots of character and a romantic feel. It was also great value for money. I would add (and this is not... More

Beautiful setting and within easy reach of the local venues and sights, this is one of the very best B&Bs that we have experienced. Breakfast included farm-picked cherries, bacon and sausages from farm stock, toast wrapped for warmth in tea-towels and lashings of care and attention. House is stunning as are the rooms. We had views on three sides and... More

Stayed 3 nights - an extremely pleasant landlady greeted me when I was looking for a parking upon arrival. Encourage guest to wander around the working farm and even prepared maps for guests. Classy coffee and tea provided in bedroom for tea making facilities - not your standard cheap coffee powder.... Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order. The landlady actually... More

Not only is New House Farm located in a particularly beautiful part of the country, it's also a wonderful place to stay. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, the views were incredible, the welcome was very warm and the breakfast was delicious! The scrambled eggs come especially recommended!

We chose this ideal bed and breakfast as a treat for our relatives in the USA. It was first class and Mrs Smith could not have made us more welcome. The situation is stunning, the breakfast and accommodation is excellent and it is a wonderful place to unwind and explore the Forest of Dean and beyond. We will be returning
