Arrived at Nee House Farm, very friendly welcome. Great host. Bedroom very comfortable, full range of facilities tea, coffee, fresh milk and cold water available. Welcomed with a pot of tea/coffee very appreciated. Shown to room, spacious, airy, odd insect on carpet, not a complaint as understandable in a country environment. Lovely view, great host. A truly lovely experience. New House Farm is in a beautiful location, settled in a picture-postcard valley. Views are just incredible. Upon arrival the house took our breath away - a fantastic old red brick building, with a comforting feel as you step through the door. The whole house had a welcoming air - aided in no small part by... More

We were greeted by the owner and offered a tray of refreshments and homemade muffins in the lounge, which had a roaring log-burner fire. Our hospitality tray in our room was well stocked and included homemade flapjacks. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well on both nights that we were there. The full English breakfast was second to... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review and I am so glad that you managed to enjoy what was a very stressful time for you both. We hope to see you both again very soon, when things have settled down a bit with the situation you are in with your elderly mother More

Seeking a relaxing weekend of walks, fresh air and a good old fashioned English pub (or two), I booked to stay at New House Farm with a couple of friends. Rosemary was welcoming and friendly, serving us with a lovely cup of tea and homemade cake on arrival. Opting for the family room to house 3 of us, we had... More

We had been really looking forward to spending our special anniversary here, in the four poster room. First impressions didn't disappoint, the room was spacious and nicely furnished, if a little cold, noticed a big blue bottle on the window, but didn't think anything of it. Had a most welcome cup of tea and cake in the lounge and talked... More

Thank you for your nice comments from your first impressions. I am truly sorry that you did not stay with me in the end and you feel that the fly situation was not resolved. Indeed after the flies had been sprayed you sat in the guests lounge at my suggestion for 1/2 an hour and I was on my way... More

This was probably the best B&B I've ever stayed at. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was sumptuous. There were fresh towels, bottled water, tea and coffee Facilities, telly and hair dryer. Homemade biscuits made us feel very special indeed. The views and walks are astounding.
