We stayed for 5 nights and on arrival we were greeted by Rosemary, and given coffee and homemade sponge In the guest lounge. Our room was very clean, had plenty of storage and guest soaps were provided in the bathroom. Rosemary was very helpful and provided directions to several local eateries, which we tried and we were not disappointed!!! Breakfast... More

Rosemary is the perfect host and within a few minutes of arriving we were treated to tea and sponge cake in the guest lounge. Our room was incredibly spacious with an almost as large ensuite, so we were able to fit in a 9 year old with no problem at all. Everything was spotlessly clean and in order. The free... More

Very homely feel to the place. Rosemary our host was very helpful and there were brochures of lots of stuff and activities nearby. Rosemary's dinner recommendations to places nearby were good. She cooked us excellent breakfast each morning. Bacon and sausages were extremely good! One definitely needs a vehicle to move around. Approach road (Barrel Lane) is quite narrow and... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2015 and we had a fantastic stay. The house is set in a wonderful location, with amazing views. Rosemary was very welcoming and helpful and we we lucky to be upgraded to the Hereford room which had amazing views from two sides, a huge bed and even bigger bathroom with all the... More

This is a beautiful old house in the middle of the countryside & is part of a working farm. Rosemary was very welcoming, with tea & cake in the sitting room & gave lots of useful information regarding places to eat & visit. The (superior) room was really lovely, king size comfortable bed, blackout lined curtains & lovely bathroom. We... More

Rosemary was not there when we got there as she had popped out for 10 minutes but we were greeted by her daughter who was very polite & friendly, we were shown to our room & then we were made a pot of tea & home made flapjacks to have in the lounge, Rosemary came in a few minutes later... More

Stayed at the New House Farm B & B on Saturday 2nd May and took the Superior room option which was a very large bedroom with ensuite facilities. The double was massive (more like a treble) and gave us the most comfortable night’s sleep we have experienced in any Hotel/B &B. The room also boasted a spare single bed and... More

Arrived at Nee House Farm, very friendly welcome. Great host. Bedroom very comfortable, full range of facilities tea, coffee, fresh milk and cold water available. Welcomed with a pot of tea/coffee very appreciated. Shown to room, spacious, airy, odd insect on carpet, not a complaint as understandable in a country environment. Lovely view, great host. TV, dvd, games, books and... More

A truly lovely experience. New House Farm is in a beautiful location, settled in a picture-postcard valley. Views are just incredible. Upon arrival the house took our breath away - a fantastic old red brick building, with a comforting feel as you step through the door. The whole house had a welcoming air - aided in no small part by... More

We were greeted by the owner and offered a tray of refreshments and homemade muffins in the lounge, which had a roaring log-burner fire. Our hospitality tray in our room was well stocked and included homemade flapjacks. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well on both nights that we were there. The full English breakfast was second to... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review and I am so glad that you managed to enjoy what was a very stressful time for you both. We hope to see you both again very soon, when things have settled down a bit with the situation you are in with your elderly mother More
