chose to stay here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor. Wasn't dissapointed. The staff welcoming, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were very good for the price. We ate in the pub in the evening which had a great atmosphere and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend you stay here.

We went to the Crown Inn, Frampton Mansell on 2nd March. Previous reviews and the 5 star rating gave the impression this was a place of romance and a superb place to stay. The front of the pub is shabby compared with its brochure picture, mended windows with aluminium tape and doors in need of a paint. We had a... More

We went here for Sunday lunch yesterday en route home after a lovely weekend in Painswick The pub is lovely and welcoming and the food really was very good - superb chicken roast and I had an amazing lamb loin with lamb sausages and bacon. Really great recommendation and delicious food Staff were a little frazzled as it was so... More

The Crown Inn is ideal for those wanting to get away, great beer, sat on a sofa by the open fire, superb food, everything we ate was a treat, lovely rooms too. nestled in the hills, ideal for walkers and foodies alike, we will definitely be visiting again

Have had many many meals here and every one a winner! There are 2 dining rooms. We always book the "bottom" room. It's more cosy and usually has the best log fire !! The bar has squashy sofas and a roaring fire too and there is candlelight everywhere which is really beautiful..... The staff are lovely , the food, yes... More

Stayed here a few weekends ago as I was attending a friends wedding at Kingscote Barn. Beautiful little b&b, in a wonderful rural location. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. The managers take the time to personally show you to your room and ensure you know where everything is and how everything... More

Could not have chosen a better place to host a surprise 50th birthday stay for my husband in August this year. Wonderful inn with excellent and reasonably priced food. We booked 7 rooms and dinner in the private dining room. The rooms were lovely and clean with good sized bathroom and quality toiletries all provided. Plenty of tea and coffee... More

Regular haunt for dinner. Consistently the best pub in the area for the last 5 years. Food is always excellent. Specials board always worth a look. Good wine selection and beers always good The best thing is always the friendliness and service. Walk in and you are made to feel part of the family.

Dined here for a business meal and did not see the accommodation. Authentic 17th century charm. Good setting. Welcoming wood fires although they made the pub quite smokey. Nice range of ales and an extensive menu. I enjoyed the food and it felt good value. Friendly service too. Overall a good experience.

The rooms for the inn are in a separate building. The décor is simple, lacking charm, but clean, with basic amenities. Breakfast was also simple and decent. Rates were reasonable and it is a good value. We did not eat at this pub, which looked cozy and friendly...but went to the nearby Bell at Sapperton, which was fantastic.
