We have stayed a number of times and always look forward to visiting. The food is fab, the rooms comfy and the service has always been fine, It's a pub so you don't expect corporate slickness. One observation (not a complaint) - there was no bar of soap last time, just a hand soap dispenser containing something that looked like... more

We have just returned from a weekend in the lovely cotswolds. Did alot of research into the the place we stayed. But obviously not enough!!We entered the rooms from a dirty carpeted stairway into dirty shabby(but not chic) rooms. Carpets dirty, Tray that tea, coffee etc was on looks as if it had never been cleaned.We had to go and... more
